I took a friend here for dinner on Saturday. She had never eaten here before. I have been enjoying the pizza since they had a tiny place behind Grazianos delicatessen in the mid 70's. We started off with the fried ravioli. The were not very good at all. They had almost no filling but hot air. I think that the frozen ravioli from Walmart is better. Or maybe it is the frozen ravioli from Walmart? Next came the spaghetti and meatballs. What a colossal disappointment. The spaghetti was way overcooked and the sauce was terrible. Nothing but some crushed tomatoes that might have had a little herbage that didn't belong. It was just bad and we didn't eat much of it. The meatballs were fair. But nothing to write home about. I'm sure that the sauce didn't help the meatballs. But I would be willing to bet that the meatballs are not made in-house. They probably come in a plastic bag from some restaurant supply company. I had to ask 3 times for some parmessan cheese. Thinking that it might help the spaghetti. The service was incredibly slow. No smiles, no offers of refills, nobody checking if the food was good, no thank yous, and in the end nobody asking if we would like some dessert. After waiting for what seemed like an hour since we got there, our waitress told us that our order had been misplaced and they were just getting started on our pizza. She should have asked us if we still wanted the pizza after waiting so long. I would have said no. Eventually our pizza arrived just in time to go into a to-go box. We went there for the fresh pizza, tried a couple things I had not eaten there before, which ended up being a huge disappointment, and ended up with cold pizza the next day. I left 2 stars for food because the only thing I got to eat Saturday night that was almost good were the meatballs. And the pizza smelled really good. Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy the fresh pizza. Leon Spargo Not afraid to leave my name...
Read moreWent in on a Sunday with a group of 11 people around 1 o’clock. Diane was our waitress, she was the only one waiting on all the tables. She had a gentleman running things to tables for her on occasion. We were the last ones to join the group and it took us 10-15 minutes to just get our drink orders in. The food came after quite a wait. It was ok, but by then we were all starving. We had to tell Diane the bill was split in to two separate bills and how to split it with all the food 3-4 times. Life goes on, this pandemic has affected everything. Short staffed, etc. I get it! It’s especially tough for restaurants. On Wednesday, I looked at my bank account and I was charged for both bills. So I go back in to the restaurant and talk to a gentleman of whom I don’t remember his name. I told him the situation and he calls Diane while I’m standing there on speaker phone. Diane remembered our party, she said she had charged my card both bills and had put a credit back on my account. So once the 7 business days were up it should go back into your account. Wait! What, I never received a receipt saying I was billed for the other ticket let alone a refund or receipt for the reversal from the card being ran to refund the amount back. Which I’m assuming you’d have to do while I’m still sitting at the restaurant and my card still in hand. Just seems like a shady situation to me and not very honest or professional in service or with transactions. Diane could have mentioned the situation she made and explained things before we left the restaurant Sunday and this would have all been avoided. It’s simple, communication with...
Read moreStopped in for dinner tonight, looking forward to some good Italian food. Ordered drinks, onion rings, salads (extra dressing), chicken Alfredo and Lasagna.
Should have known how the service was going to go when as soon as we got our drinks the waitress went right to the counter and got on her phone 🤦♀️
Our salads came out and she went right back to playing on her phone in clear view, our salads came out with little to no dressing, my husband tried to wave her down and she didn't see us finally she came over and got us our dressing.
Onion rings came out while later, they were cold. About 45 minutes into our dinner she came out and said there was technical difficulty when she entered our food and the kitchen was working quickly to get it out. Mind you the restaurant only had 2 other tables of people. Another 10-15 minutes later she brought the food out.
My Alfredo was set in front of me and there was no chicken, she had a little attitude and goes well do you really want me to have them add it? Well ya I did 🤦♀️
Then my husband's food comes out with a different server, was supposed to be Lasagna well it was spaghetti with meat sauce. We had then been there well over an hour at this point so we asked for a manager and was told (with a big attitude) they didn't have one tonight.
Another girl came out and was super friendly, offered us a medium pizza and a desert for the problems so we took her up on that just to get out the door, as our actual order still hadnt been started. When we went to leave our server was sitting back at the counter on her...
