Once again!!!!
We order 2 plates enchiladas dinner by phone- when we got there, the cashier was not able to understand what online menu offers with dinners - It says ( all diners comes with : rice and beans and tortillas) ! We didn’t receive the tortillas , cashier called the owner and OWNER didn’t respect HIS own advertisement online!!! We were charged for an order of Flour Tortillas- what we received was a big hug burrito tortilla!!! You guys need serious help! And respect what your advertising says! Other wise is a SCAM!!
We gave this restaurant and owner several times the opportunity to accomplish a great service and food quality - but it is IMPOSSIBLE for them ! I would NEVER go back again !!!

This place is a small hole I'm the wall but pet me tell you, it was a diamond in the rough. They completely remodeled their interior and it is absolutely awesome with classic cars and beautiful tables and chairs. I had the carnitas tacos and they were absolutely amazing. The meat was so tender and juicy and flavorful. I got mine on the hard shell because I'm not one for corn tortillas when they aren't fried. The serving size was very fair for what you pay although the prices have went up since we've lived here with inflation going up but it is definitely worth it. The service is awesome and the people are very sweet that work there. They are accommodating and welcoming and it is all around a wonderful place to go. It is also awesome for kids but they do not offer a kids menu. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food that is absolutely delicious this is definitely the best place in my opinion in desert Hot Springs. This is your average family diner. Food that's reasonably good, prices that are not insanely expensive, staff that are always very good (usually because mom and dad or another relative owns the place).
I ordered the mushroom burger to go. It was a quarter pound of beef (likely from frozen patties, but well-seasoned) with lettuce, tomato, and piled high with mushrooms. By the time I got home, the bun was a little bit soggy, but that's certainly not their fault... Any burger served hot on a fresh roll is going to have a bit of a sogginess factor.
One big advantage that they have is that they are local in Desert Edge... No need to drive all the way out to Palm or Pierson to grab a bite to eat... And with the price of gas as high as it is, anything local just makes good sense!
Even if gas was cheaper, though, I'd recommend All Star Burger as a decent place to grab a quick, tasty, reasonably priced...
