Pros : Everything Burger was HUGE and filled with goodness. The Angus Burger also HUGE and filled with goodness. Coke was good. Draft beer fine.
Cons: The "special burger and fries" they advertise for $6.95 is supposed to be their 1/4 lb. burger. Not sure......but it was small. Lots of fries though.......; "Onion Straws" were way way way overcooked and didn't taste like anything.
Biggest Con? They charge you a 4% "fee" to use your credit card. And when you get your bill, you will notice that ALL of the items you've been charged for have had said fee already added to your bill! So you are left confused and questioning your waiter. In addition, they are charging TAX on that 4% markup for a credit card fee and that is not allowed in California. Strongly dislike places who do this. For pete's sake - you can go down the road to the Windmill Market and get food/drinks and there is NO charge for using your credit card. In today's world, folks, credit card useage is an absolute and it's always been a cost of doing business. Giant fan(s) blowing hot air around. Waiter/bar tender - one and the same - had a wee bit of an attitude and was unfriendly.
Nah.....don't need to...
Read moreI recently visited this establishment for the first time and was delighted to discover a hidden gem. My server, Lorissa, was exceptionally sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. The burger in the photo is the Everything Burger, and I highly recommend it - it was outstanding. The music was a great vibe, the beer was ice cold, and the jalapeño poppers and wings were served piping hot, which was impressive. I strongly suggest trying their ranch dressing, as it is excellent. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a karaoke machine. The music selection was excellent, with a 100% hit rate. I definitely plan to return and would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the small town of Yucca Valley and Morongo. The restaurant is kid-friendly, handicapped accessible, and conveniently connected to a stylish ice cream shop. I almost forgot to mention the pinball machines brings you back to when...
Read moreUPDATE: 10/2/19 - Came back again for round 2 and it was even better than our first visit! Met the owner who was super cool. We had a large party. 5 adults and 5 kids and all of our food was awesome. The kids hung out in the back game room while we waited for our food. Thanks Dillons! Keep up the great food and great service.
FIRST REVIEW: This little spot in Morongo Valley is much needed as there aren't a lot of dining options down there. They've got a pretty good menu with reasonable pricing. The staff is friendly, and the food is good. Have only been here once, but I will definitely come back just because the service was great. Also, they stock enough Jameson to serve Picklebacks to a small army. IF you've never had one, this is the place to go to get your first experience. They have both the Jameson stout and the IPA. High five Dillon's. I hope you guys are...
