🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨READ BEFORE GOING🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 If I can give a negative review about a certain location, this place puts a cherry on the cake. my family from Mexico had came down to visit us here in Texas and we collectively decided to go eat at Cracker Barrel, because my aunt was craving their food. Upon arrival the hostess tells us there's going to be a wait time for a table of 8 when there's only like 3-4 other parties there. So we wait a few minutes before we get seated, after being seated it took about 10-15 minutes for our waitress to come out from the kitchen to ask us what we wanted to drink, only for the drinks to come out another 10-15 minutes along with the complementary bread. We didn't get any other type of service and we we're basically entertaining ourselves and talking back and forth. Then after another 30-45 minutes of waiting the waitress comes back out and finally takes our order. About another hour goes by and we wait and talk some more and the food comes out either cold or raw, and one of my aunts goes and gets the manager which her name is Arby or RB, which ever, and right off the bat she was very argumentative, and had the sassiest, most uptight attitude imaginable. The manager goes and makes excuses about how the waitress is young and that she was stressing out and crying in the back of the kitchen and scared to come out toto talk to us because we were a big table when all we were doing was talking amongst ourselves, on top of that note the waitress was 16 yrs old serving alcohol which is very illegal to my knowledge as well. Soon after we all lost our appetite from how rude the manager was being so she decided to pick up our plates and cups without asking if we wanted to-go containers or anything and said that the check will be compensated. Typically when we eat out at those type of restaurants we usually get coffee and dessert but the manager in her own words said "I came here to reason with you guys and bring you dessert and more drinks but you were being disrespectful so I compensated the check". We we're going to pay for our meal and leave but in my opinion she escalated that situation more than it needed to. Upon leaving the restaurant most of us went to the restroom and and other went outside to talk some more and make plans again to hangout since they go back home on Friday and thats when some employees come outside to "do things" but to eavesdrop in our conversation, the manager comes outside as well and asks 2 of my aunts for their name, phone number, email address and HOME ADDRESS FOR SOME REASON, that seemed very sketchy and my aunts didn't hand over any information. Soon after we were getting to leave another group comes in and walk inside in a hurry and we didn't pay any attention to it at all. Then that same group comes back outside yelling at us saying "WHICH ONE OF YALL MADE MY GIRL CRY" pointing fingers not only at my aunts but at my parents as well. And I was very neutral in the situation until the guy tries to shove his way through my parents to get to me and his other friend had his hand in his pocket ready to draw a weapon. NOTE WE ALSO HAD A 5YR OLD WITH US AT THE TIME TOO. The situation escalated where my aunt ran inside the restaurant due to a panic attack, and Desoto PD were called. Police didn't do a thing about the situation, the manager and the waitress were both cowards, and now we are criminally trespassed from Cracker Barrel. Super unprofessional this will be going...
Read moreWe went there for dinner tonight. There were 5 of us first off after they took our order. She came back about 10 minutes later with our drinks. Then we waited and waited and waited and our waitress never showed back up for about. I would say it was about 2530 minutes. She came back and said, oh, I'm sorry we don't have the chicken tenders. Or out which is what 1 of the guests in our party order? Okay now This was a good half an hour after we had sat down and placed our order. Okay, we were expecting food to becoming out by then. But no, she came out and said there's no more chicken tenders, said okay, and it was a child and he decided he didn't want to get anything so then she left and we didn't see her again for a long time. We kind of stood up looking around to see if we could find someone to refill our drinks. And finally, we got their attention, and they came over and refilled our banks. About another 30 minutes, 20 to 30 minutes pass by and she came out and she approached me and said, oh, I'm sorry, we're out of the dumpling soup that you wanted now. At this point, we should have had our food about 1020 minutes before then, and we're expecting our food, but she came out again like I said. And this was a good hour after we placed our order to say, oh, we don't have any more of the chicken and dumpling soup. At which point I said, okay, get me a menu and I'll look for Something Else. Than I did. She never came back to refill our waters, or do anything. We had to keep calling for attention to get someone to to help us. Then the food was brought out and of course when I added something to my order, because they didn't have it in more soup that took longer to come out because they had to add it at the end of the order. Then we asked for a few things we asked for some condiments and some things that Ashley never got And until the very end, when we were almost done with our meal and she said, oh, I'm sorry I forgot it was actually one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. I really can't explain it. It was very strange to be sitting there for all that time and then to come out way past the time, our food should have been out. And tell us they were out of things. It wasn't like a few minutes after she put our order in. I'm telling you, we had already sat there longer than we should have, and our food should have already been out. So the service was horrible, the food we did get was good. However, the process of getting it and how long it took was not So, needless to say, none of us will ever eat...
Read moreWe arrived on Sunday around 12:30pm and could see that there were several people waiting outside and we knew there would be a wait. We were greeted at the door by a young lady with a tablet. She took our name and cell number for 3 people, she told us it would be about 30 minutes. We waited just about an hour before our name was called saying our table was ready.
We went up to the host station to let them know we heard them announce that our table was ready. They said oh just a minute your table isn't clear yet. We were asked to step off to the side and wait for a specific table that they had assigned to us was ready. Instead of someone going immediately and cleaning the table we waited for another 10 minutes before that specific table was cleaned for us. This was very confusing to us as we couldn't understand why they called us and said our table was ready when it wasn't. As we waited, we saw at least 3 other parties called with 3-4 people in each and they were seated right away.
When we got seated, I asked to speak to the manager when our waiter was at our table to take our drink order. Steven, the manager, came right away. Steven did apologize but did his best to justify why the table was not cleaned and why we needed to wait longer. He never said that he would talk to the staff about it or anything. Just that he was sorry and that they were busy, and the bussers didn't clean it quick enough. During this experience I saw two bussers sitting around and talking with the wait staff. They seemed to be having a good ole time when they should have been cleaning tables. It also took us 30 min to get our food and another table that was seated after us got their food before us even through we had been seated and ordered before they came.
If the table isn't clean, I don’t think they should be calling up the guests and saying that their table is ready. It was also confusing why we had to have that specific table and not just the first available table (especially since others who came later were seated before us). This was one of the worst experiences that we have ever had at Cracker Barrel. Their customer service was poor, and the attitude of the manager is reflected throughout the staff in the restaurant. Thankfully our waitress was...
