Checkers — Restaurant in Detroit

I went to this checkers on a lunch break. When I was in line ordering I noticed they had vehicles that had to wait for their food pulling around the building going backwards through the passenger side drive thru, it was a big inconvience for the people waiting for their food because then they had to wait on the line of people waiting to order their food in order to leave the parking lot. Well when I ordered they asked me to do the same. I told them I wasn’t comfortable driving backwards through the drive through as I would be trapped by the order line of cars, I told them I would park and wait for my food. 20 minutes then went by and still I did not receive my food. So I went back through the drive thru and sled for my money back. When I did the punk shift manager was rude and unprofessional and told me since I paid with a credit card that he had to put it back on the card. Only he printed out a receipt with $0 on it, no order number, no dollar mount, just $0. He then told me that’s how their system works, rudely told me to call corporate if I had a problem and closed the window on me. When I tried getting his attention so that I could have him write down the dollar amount refunded back to the card I was rudely was ignored. A couple minutes later the cops showed up, this rude shift manager had the audacity to try sending me backwards thru the drive thru to further inconvenience me on top of having to wait for my order all cause they are too lazy to bring your order out to you like every other fast food place in America and then he was shady with the refund ticket and then he called the cops on me. Needless to say we got it all worked out when the cops came. The cops were far more professional than the checkers on 4030 e eight mile rd and that is to say the least. Oh and I did call corporate. If I could give this location no stars that would be my rating, I’ve visited this location about three times in the last two months and each visit is awful, you call they don’t answer you order the smallest thing your being pulled around the building to a whole other line of cars and not to mention they’re not friendly and they never give me my receipt EVER. Last night I visited this specific location again had to turn around out of my drive way and go back because the whole bag of food was soiled from the wing sauce in the container at the bottom of the bag, with that being said when I took my completely torn up and open bag up there and let them know my food was all over my floor board they insisted on "where is the food" which I definitely understand but at the same time I had to go pick up food that had been soaked in hot sauce off of my floor board just for her to tell me to throw it away. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! I just went there at 1:46am to pickup my online order and parts of the order were missing! The worker told me they didn’t have it and I would have to contact the website that I ordered on and ask for a refund which was strange because any other place would give the refund there on the spot. I then asked if I could get something else instead for the inconvenience she told me no there wasn’t anything on the menu at the same value. Frustrated at that point, I just left and tried calling for my refund. Customer service isn’t open so I decided to read the policy on refunds. Turns out the refund was supposed to be given to me by the checkers location responsible for fulfilling my order. So the lady either lied or didn’t know how to do her job either way she wasn’t helpful and now I just lost money because you guys can’t provide a proper refund. I knew I was taking a chance going to this horrible location but I was hungry so I just went. Never again. This place is trifling and should be shut down immediately. Playing with people’s money...
