First off I would have to begin with the food being excellent 👌🏾. But the name of the restaurant is very deceiving. It should be called the "House of Rice" maybe "Kwong Tung Inn" means exactly that, then everything about how they prepare their platters would make sense. At first glance the serving looks excellent👌🏾, a platter from heaven. But upon further investigation they place your portion of meat on top of more rice. Very deceitful. Now, before you say I maybe tripping and it was an oversight, I thought the same thing. But I purchased 3 platters and they were all set up the same. Meat on top of rice. There are 3 sections on the platter and the top 2 sections are normally for rice and the larger bottom section for the entree. You don't put more rice under my entree decreasing my portions 🤯 unacceptable. Maybe next time I'll order ahead and inform them I know of the deception and see if they will confirm. Yet if not there are plenty other Chinese Restaurants that serve better food with honesty in their portions. BTW... I had to substitute a portion because of kosher practice for extra gravy instead, and guess what I discovered they've given me once I got home, you're so smart, you...

I've been eating at this restaurant for years, but lately, like a lot of restaurants today, they don't have that same excellent quality. I ordered cashew chicken with shrimp fried rice and two egg roles. Usually this is a great meal, but what I got wasn't. The egg rolls were the first thing I started to eat, I was hungry so one of them wasn't going to make it home, maybe both, but when I bit into it the first thing I noticed was that it had the taste of over used grease instead of the juicy flavors I was expecting. There was very little filling inside, just more of its greasy shell. The meal was the same. The taste of the vegetables, chicken and sauce was over run by that strong taste of resurrected grease. The portions were also less than satisfying but in this case I was glad. In my experience this has been a great place to eat, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe this was an off day, so I will return and try...

I don't understand how this place is getting good reviews. My food was disgusting and noodles overcooked. I went to return my order and the man said that I could not get my whole refund because "nothing was wrong with the food", even though I told him it was terrible. So instead of the $27 I paid for it he only gave me back $22 because he says he can't resale it and its losing money for him. I've told him he shouldn't be re-saling returned food anyway. And that he should NOT mix that food back with it and throw it away. Their customer service was terrible from the start. And I should have followed my gut and left when I seen how poor the service was. Truth be told, if he's to cheap to give me back my refund and charged me $5 for returning his food back to him, do you think this man really discarded that food??? Please don't play yourself. Your eating the food I...

I've been patronizing this place since 1979. And today I was accused of NOT leaving a tip on my last visit and it was added to today's bill. Where is that done at? Tipping is an option. What proof did they have that it was me? I was told Thank U for doing business with them for that long but it's just rude NOT to tip. Then the waitress was trying to come after me and the cashier guy was holding her back. I didn't get belligerent. I clearly told them I can either pay for what I ate today or pay nothing at all. Their choice. Better yet call the police. I have the time. I paid my bill and tip a whole $0.25..Where is it your forced to tip let alone from a past visit. Bye Bye Kwong Tung Inn but it's time to take my business somewhere else!!

Best Chinese food in the area, hands down. I have been coming here for a little over 10 years now, and the food has always been amazing. The prices are low, even though they've increased a little since I've been coming here- granted, I don't mind at all, because they give you enormous servings. The waitress that handles the entire (small) dining room is very kind, hardworking, and sweet. However, the decor is a drab, old, and outdated, there is limited seating, and I have seen the man who appears to run this place be rude to some customers once in a while (never to my family and I, though). That aside the food makes up for those things, personally. I shall keep coming back. :)

This was my first time visiting this location period I visited many other Chinese restaurants around the local area and have been left disappointed period but this location, however, has left me satisfied and pleased with my order period the food is everything I was expecting it to be and then some period the chicken was not overcooked Soggy or or drenched in oils. The shrimp fried rice was cooked to perfection and there were many pieces of shrimp throughout the rice period the shrimp egg roll was everything I'd hoped it would be as well.
