Detroit City Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

Today I passed 4 Coney Islands just to get to this one. Why you may ask? It's because the food USED to be fresh 😩. I order the same thing whenever I go. I ordered a 6 wing snack and a Turkey salad with onions. I was on my way to work so, it was my lunch. I was SOOO disappointed once I opened the salad. It looked great from the top, but once I got passed all the cheese the entire salad was spoiled 🤢. All the lettuce was wilted. The egg was soft as Mayo! I ruined my ENTIRE lunch 😡. I KNOW they had to see the brown salad, but instead they just put a handful of cheese on the top. My question is WHY would you serve this?? My bill was almost $23. As well🤬. My wings were fresh as usual. So, those were good. That's the ONLY reason you get 1 star. Because you ruin my lunch break I wish I could give them no stars. PLEASE Kings and Queens look through your salad so they don't just sprinkle a lot of cheese on the top to hide the spoiled food underneath 😖😬😡🤬🤢. I won't be back. I'll stick with Leo's from now on. $23. Of my hard earned money wasted 😭😢.. I'll tell my sister NOT to come as well. Please be on the lookout people 🙏🏽

Me and my fiancé stopped by here for the first time on Saturday night. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and he got a 8pc wing ding snack. The burger had potential to be good but it was dry. The fries were good oh and the chicken was good & crispy lol. I don’t even like chicken but I’d go back for it. The service was friendly & quick.

UPDATE: 4/12/2023 This makes like my 5th visit since my 1st review. Old black lady got smart as I was placing my order at the drive thru gone try to tell me what I said cuz she couldn’t here because their speaker messed up Ig: then cut me off mid order and never said anything else so of course I backed up and went in once again did the same thing. I said I just came from the drive thru u cut me off she say oh what was yo order wrote it never put it in and walked away like lady I will gladly take my money else where. The young girls here are nice it’s always the old mfs smh very...

I don't expect great customer service from coney island. I just want my food made hot and right. After today this place will NEVER get my money again. I can't say I have ever returned food to a coney but I'm pregnant, haven't ate all day and my burger was not fresh. I could tell by looking at it. I work nearby, called my order in while in the car, arrived in 5 mins and didn't have to wait and they want me to believe that burger was made fresh for my order. I took the full burger back and they refused to make it over. Said that he wasn't making it over give her her money back. I was not rude and surprised that he rather refund my money rather than make the situation right for the customer. To make matters worse I was on my lunch break so I couldn't go any where else. Definitely shows they care nothing about customers. Only reason I go to this one is because the Drive thru is convenient but...
