Family Treats — Restaurant in Detroit

So tonight I was craving a chocolate milk shake because I’m 7 months pregnant and l wanted family treat. I saw they were still open and mind you it was like 8:59 by the time I pulled up. I was actually shocked the doors were open because usually some places will lock the door when it’s like 5 till. So kudos to them for staying open until the time that you actually close ! I walked in and explained my situation and every single person that was working was so nice to me and were happy to help satisfy my craving. Excellent customer service. They were all very friendly and I really appreciated such great hospitality.I was very happy after receiving my milk shake. They all deserve raises !! Like 50$ an hour ! Lol .. Thanks...

Family treat rules. I'm 33 and it has probably created half of my body, especially the fat portion because I eat so many of their cheese sticks. This is hands down the best dairy bar I've ever been to in my life. The only thing that I'd change about this place is I'd make it open year-round. They're closed from some time in October or November to around February. Do yourself a favor, if you're in Southwest Detroit, GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Especially if you want some ice cream or your typical dairy bar/coney style food. DON'T PASS IT UP! Bear in mind, this place is CASH ONLY, so bring some dollar...

I normally love coming here every year, but lately the past couple times they've continuously messed up my order, and when I ask to speak with a manager I get nothing but excuses. Ordered to a chicken dinner with a 2 Large chilli fry got one that was all fry no chilli and found my other one( not a large fry like i asked but a small cup of slaw sized fry again no chilli) and to top it all of that was really upsetting was my chicken burnt.. shriveled.. husks. I hope to one day go back.,all I can say is check your food before u leave and get what...
