Mandee's Jazz Cafe — Restaurant in Detroit

Now don’t get me wrong. The food was good but the staff. Not so much with only three other people in the place when we came in the there and am talking 5 Veterans at 4:36 pm it was still over 8 minutes be for the lady behind the bar stop talking to the other works and came to take the drinks and food order. Now we are all over 50 so we told her the the music box was not working and we wanted to play music she said ohI got to here my music first so after about a other 6 min the music started and it was all hard rapp now understand we still had not got even one drink yet from her. People from Detroit very thirsty and broke. It is 2019 who still breaks in cars like people leave valuables in there still, and if so they are tucked and secured. I was one of 12 cars broke into while attending Mandee's on 12/29/18. Just pay the 10 dollars to park, there is no guarantee that your vehicle will be safe in their hands, but the can be held responsible of broke into. 20 dollars to get in when they call they self being busy. As far as the atmosphere goes it was cool, but everyone still stands around looking. That's just the new bar/club scene I guess. Long story short BE MINDFUL when attending MANDEE'S. And definitely BEWARE OF DETROIT...

Well I suppose I was somehow offensive when I took to stage-right to distance myself from a woman smoking at the bar. Her and the waitress conspired to swipe and hide my keys from me for nearly 4-hours. What a horrendous ordeal. Great food most of the time, fairly good service, but clearly I won't be back.
