Nicky D'S Coney Island Grand River — Restaurant in Detroit

I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken for this place today. When I got home, i opened my salad and I had brown pieces of lettuce and the cucumbers were soggy. I called the restaurant and was told they would remake the salad. When I got there, the alleged owner whom I’ve never seen before and I’ve been going to this place for years, which makes my experience even worse, asked if I wanted to keep my chicken and they would remake the salad. I stated that I would like for you to remake the entire salad please. She did not respond. When she returned, she stated I looked at your salad and nothing was wrong. There was no brown lettuce. I asked her so you think I came all the way back up here for nothing. She stated yes you just wanted another salad. Then said I should be ashamed of myself. The nerve of her! They lost a customer tonight! But she seems to not care because when I called to speak to the owner she went on another rant about how nothing was wrong with my salad. Unbelievable! I will definitely tell everyone I know not to patronize this...

The food was ok but they took a long time to provide our order which was simple and we were only the second car in line. It may have been a shift change but either way we waited for a while. The cashier took my debit card and did not give it back. She kept it the entire time that our food was being prepared (at least 10 minutes) until I was able to get someone's attention and asked for my card back. Way too much time for someone else to handle my card. With all the identity theft these days, most cashier's give your card back immediately and ensure that you can see them while they are handling your card. When I politely mentioned it to the lady that took over at the window she stated, "Oh she doesn't need your card" as I am assuming she is the owner. I was never rude and that was an unprofessional response. Compassion and apology would have been appreciated or at least acknowledgement for customer's concern. She may not need it but I do!! That was my first and last time at...

If I could give them zero Stars I would very disappointing used to be one of my favorite places to eat in the city and in our local neighborhood every time you go there anymore for me personally it has been the last three times the worst experience ever in any Coney Island in the city of Detroit not only are they rude with taking your money but today I encountered two different young unexperienced females trying to charge me for two chili cheese fries and four ranches at two different windows with two totally different prices little crazy when the totals were almost $6 difference kind of makes you wonder if they're really charging me the right prices and to top that off once I got my food and got home two of my large ranches had less than a quarter filled of ranch I have tried calling numerous times have been placed on hold 5 different times no communication at all definitely would not recommend this place to anybody and that's sad to say definitely will not...
