Vegan in the Hood LLC — Restaurant in Detroit

Misleading, fake place. There is no vegan restaurant called “Vegan in the Hood”. It is part of a larger non-vegan Afro-Carribean restaurant called Yumvillage. There is no separate menu for the vegan items, and presumably uses the same kitchen too.

Upon reaching there I was told they “ran out of” options and nothing advertised on their online menu is available.

Servers are inconsiderate and ignore people standing in line.

No online ordering, hours advertised are also fake, no parking or restrooms.

I went to there today to dine in. Owners seem like lovely people but the food appears to be packaged products. Tasted like frozen french fries from a grocery store that were fried as well as a hot dog (tofurkey hot dog) with a store bought wonder bread bun. We were told it would take 10 minutes to prepare.
