I kid you not, this happened 5 minutes ago. I came to this Wendy's for a baked potato. I was really craving one. So, I had it made special. I get it from the person at the window and pull up a bit to check my food. They gave me French fries made exactly how I wanted the baked potato to be made. My question is did they think that it was funny? But, when I went in, I simply stated that I received fries instead of the baked potato. Their response was there will be a 20 minute wait. To which I replied that it would've been nice to know that when I was ordering it. Instead of purposely selling me something that I didn't ask for. This person says well I didn't hear you. I used to work fast food and did for years in my teens and 20s. There are screens there for the sole purpose of telling you the exact order so that you don't get it wrong. I got my money back and I left. I understand that mistakes happen. But the lack of an apology (or anything else that would be considered good customer service) leads me to belive that they were hoping that I made it too far away to come back before I noticed. The mobile order service is a joke. The dining room is locked. There are signs across from the drive thru window that say to park for mobile order. The email sent for a mobile says to hit I'M HERE and the order will be brought to you. This is untrue. I sat in the mobile order parking spot for 10 mins while staff ignored me. I eventually knocked on the drive thru window and inquired as to how I would pick up my order. The lady at the drive thru window stated I had to get in the drive thru line to pick up my order (WHICH WAS LONG). I responded by stating "I thought the purpose of mobile order was to skip the drive thru line and what about the mobile order parking spots?" The lady responded by asking me to pull up to the window and she would get my order. I pulled up to the window only to have the Manager/Supervisor bring my order, slam it on the counter and proceed to tell the drive thru lady " You can give it to her I don't like the way she look." Wow! The ignorance of this lady is astounding. The attitude and rudeness was on called for especially when I was inquiring about a process that was not being followed. And White Castles are out of their burger frying minds, if they think that I will pay for a burger that's no bigger than a 50 cent coin, and as thin as slice of bologna at almost the same price as McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King. You people need to realize that for a couple more dollars, one can get a complete meal at an all you can eat Buffet. Of all fast food chain, Churches Chicken has the best prices. However, supermarket rotisserie got them beat. A whole chicken for five dollars. All of you guys can do better, and stop being so greedy! You guys are fleecing your customers.
