Waitresses are very rude and condescending, donât expect them to come back to make sure your food is ok. Also donât expect refills. All you can expect is a rude waitress to ruin your dining experience & act like they donât understand you. Even though I know theyâve been here over 10+ years so they should know simple English terms. Especially the younger lady with the bun, Monica is her name I believe. Every time I go there itâs the same thing, basically youâre a big inconvenience. They stare at you like they want to kill you, yell your order back to you, no smile, no thank you. Donât even come back to make sure it came out correctly or if you need silverware, an extra plate or god forbid some more chips. Need a drink refill? Good luck finding someone who will give you the time of day. They will be back to slam the receipt on the table after youâve eaten though. Wonât say a word. You have to go up to the counter to ask for a box. Then go back to pay. The only kind person there is the owner who is somehow oblivious his employees are ruining his business, which is not a good manager. I will never go back there, such a shame there are no other Mexican options in Dewitt. However if you like fiesta charra there is one on lake Lansing and one in East Lansing which are both top notch, they speak English, make you feel welcomed and are amazing at service. NIGHT & DAY difference. I will travel there just to be able to enjoy my meal. Hopefully others will too and Dewitt fiesta charra gets their...
Read moreAfter talking about getting Mexican food for a good few months, the cute girl and I went here for din din, yâall! We went at peak dinner time and there was no wait, even got a booth. If youâre not sitting in booths youâre not doing it right. It took a while for our order to be taken but once it was the service was flawless beyond that. I ordered the burrito loco and let me tell ya what, that was the best burrito I ever had! Now Iâm no stranger to burritos either. I grew up in the mud, son. I grew up eating Tinaâs burritos for like thirty cents a pop! Anyways, the portion size is god tier for only $12. That was a big burrito. To drink, I just got root beer and it was adequate. My burrito was the first Iâve dined on in a good couple years almost. Well shoot, boy I took no prisoners on the rito. I ate the whole darn thing. The cute girl ordered the chipotle fajitas and they were flawless besides a bit too spicy. Poor cutie could only eat two of the three, so guess what? Your boy feasted and beasted on the third one, son! Even had some left over from her meal for later too! Iâll chow down like a clown on that tomorrow, ya hear? Best Mexican restaurant experience of the kidâs life, on God! Definitely on my âwill be backâ list! The restaurant decor is fun and colorful, very festive! The food was bangin and the cute girl looked bangin! Solid five outta five! This has been Matches Malone yâall, Iâm...
Read moreHow have I not reviewed this place yet? It is, in my opinion, not only the best Mexican restaurant in mid-Michigan (to be fair I haven't been to too many), but perhaps one of the best Mexican restaurants in Michigan period. While most of their food is of the Tex-Mex variety, they do have a plethora of authentic Mexican dishes too. Both halves are fantastic. I usually lean towards the Tex-Mex side with some of their burritos, but even their authentic chorizo tacos (simply topped with cilantro and onion) are amazing. They serve chips and a salsa and a creamy-type sauce (I wish I knew what it was, it's amazing) complementary, and they're all great. These almost always get refilled.
Every time I've eaten here, the service has been fantastic, the food is delicious and made quickly, and most of all, it's inexpensive and good, almost disproportionately so.
As to most of the reviews talking about slow service - I think I've seen it happen once, and I've been a few dozen times. Maybe I go during off-hours, but I'm usually with at least four or five others and the food is out faster than I can even ask to get a...
