Rude and gross. My Fiancé and I went to this McDonald's to treat ourselves with a frappé and other food. We shared the frappe so we requested an empty cup. My half was fine but I noticed my Fiancé slowly putting down his cup and a look of disgust on his face. I asked what was wrong and he didn't say anything, just reached his hand up and slowly pulled a hair out of his mouth. I was then disgusted too and stopped drinking the rest of my half. We called right away to report it, and didn't ask for anything to be done about it, nothing at all, and the manager asked us to come through with the hair and the frappe. We went back through to show the hair and express our disgust in a proper manner. The manager, then rudely said, "What the hell is this?" My Fiancé kindly but firmly stated in remarks to the managers question, "The hair I found in my frappe." The manager then brought out a cook with long dishwasher blonde hair and short bangs and said that it couldn't be hers when there is clearly other cooks in the back as well (none of which by the way we're wearing any gloves or hair nets) and then accused my Fiancé of plucking out his own hair in order to get another frappe. Excuse me, but nobody wants a second order of something that they just got disgusted from and stopped eating. Nor did we even want our money back, considering the drink was basically almost all gone. The only thing we were trying to do, was let them know that they should be wearing hair nets like the rest of the world that hands out food. My Fiancé has black hair and I have long dark brown hair that was put up and I was nowhere near his cup (he even split the drink so there's no chance of it being my hair). The hair we found was short (about 2-3 inches) and light brown at the top and kind of blonde at the end as if it had been dyed. That was NOT our hair. So here I am complaining about both the food, and the service of the manager whose name I did not catch but he is a tall scrawny looking older guy with brown hair whom works the night shift. This manager was extremely unprofessional. We even came here from out of town, as we were just taking a very long, relaxing drive to my hometown. We left immediately, appalled by...
Read moreSo i am sitting with my friend inside the playplace area and our kids are eating and some rude lady walked up (i shall refer to her as the sock nazi) and interupted us while we were eating and rudly says "do your kids have on socks?" I told her flat out im not putting socks on my child...He was eating...then she makes some comment like "he will if he wants to play!" And she walked off. Mind you this lady had no uniform on but i did see her walk in and out from behind the counter so i can only assume she was a manager. That in itself is a problem because she was not in managers attire and had no sort of uniform on to identify her as an employee and im pretty sure this is against mcdonalds policy. I didn't like this lady and her snotty attitude. Since kids were around i didn't give her the business. My child was sitting beside me eating and she couldn't see my kids feet anyway. So what on earth makes her think its ok to interupt people while they are eating and talking and come up to us with some kind of authority and ask if our kids had on socks? I'm the parent and i make the decisions. If my son is sitting at the table eating his food and minding his business how is it ok for the sock nazi to demand that my child have on socks in the play area. He wasnt in the play area he was in the dinning section eating. Teach your employees and managers common courtesy and...
Read moreI remember when McDonald's was a fast food restaurant. Now it's a hurry up and wait restaurant, as in hurry up and get their money then make them wait 20+ minutes to get their food.
It used to be that when you went through the drive through, they took your order, you'd pull up to the window, hand them your money and they'd hand you your food. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes. Even when they were busy, you could get your food and be on your way quickly.
Now they ask you if you're going to use the mobile app, then take your order and your money then ask you to pull ahead while your food is being made. I am sometimes waiting for 20+ minutes for my food.
And as far as the mobile app goes, stop, just stop with the mobile app or have a way for people to use it without going through the...
