Pizza Hut — Restaurant in DeWitt

Pizza Hut use to be one of my favorite places EVER! HOWEVER, we just had the worst experience there & we will not be going back! We walked in, stood for 5 min before being greeted, but was greeted with “it’s only two of us today.” Okay, fine. We placed our order & waited over 25 min for our food (two flatzz pizzas & breadsticks). My fiancé ordered a Hawaiian pizza, he took his first bite & immediately bit into a an onion!! On a HAWAIIAN pizza!! The waitress that was there was “busy” taking other orders & not once came over and asked how things were. As we’re getting done, she comes over & gives us our bill. I let her know my fiancé had an onion on his Hawaiian pizza. Next thing we know, the other lady making pizzas comes over & says to me “she said you have an issue. I’m the one making pizzas”, and said all I told her was that there was an onion on his HAWAIIAN pizza. She came back with “our food gets mixed up all the time, I gave you that pizza for $5 and I didn’t have to do that.” I also did not tell her to do that either (we looked at deals online & it said additional charges for extra toppings).. okay, so just apologize, right?? However, she wanted to be rude & I let her know we saw her putting pizzas in boxes with her BARE HANDS, no GLOVES! She said “well that happens all the time, I washed my hands”. But does she wash her hands every single time after she’s touched a pizza?? Not to mention, all of the flies that were flying around in the place & our food! I normally don’t do reviews, nor complain, however this experience needed it. If I could give 0 stars to this place, I would! Needless to say, I HIGHLY don’t recommend this place & will never be...

The last 3 times we've ordered from this pizza hut, it seemed like they just have no idea what's going on. None of the regular people who've been there for the last couple years, we're working their regular Friday night like they were the last couple years. I can only assume they quit. We went inside to wait for our order and it was just complete chaos in there. Orders were way behind, orders were wrong, and it seemed to be under new management, and the guy had no idea what he was doing. Since then we've only had bad experiences and wrong orders. They don't have stuff stocked and run out of things quickly all the time. The regular staff seemed flustered with the new manager or franchise owner, whatever he was, like he was coming in and ruining a perfectly good flow they've had there for the past couple years. They would get orders wrong every once in a while but not every time like it has been recently. I could write a whole lot more, but suffice it to say we will not be going back to this pizza hut until they get things figured out and get back to how they were when...

Update: decided I wanted taco pizza and wings. The wings had almost no sauce in them. Basically plain wings! Some didn't have sauce at all. No sauce on bottom of container. I know they shake them around so they should have a little sauce on some. But no. Pizza isnt cooked all the way. $40 there they put $10 on our account because of the problems... They said more wing sauce is extra... These wings were almsot PLAIN. Things are never right here. Doesn't matter if you wait a year to give the place another chance . .
