Starbucks — Restaurant in Dodge City

Twice in this new location, twice leaving very disappointed. No cold brew either time. First pictured below is my usual- salted caramel creme cold brew purchased from the location at Central and Rock in Wichita.

The first time the girl at the register told me that she couldn't reccomend anything to sub because she doesn't drink coffee. Okay, that's fine. They were busy so I bought a couple gift cards and moved on.

The second time, the young man at the register was obviously not really happy to be there and came off quite rude. Someone who seemed like a manager stepped up and recommend the swill pictured below. This was the absolute worst drink I've ever tasted. It was a pure affront to Starbucks and coffee. To add insult, it took over 5 minutes to make. Only one employee acknowledged knowing how to make the iced coffee base. Did he make it? No. Was there plenty of complaining and horseplay behind the counter? Yes. Meanwhile, a lady passing through town waited just as long for a vanilla bean frap. We had plenty of time to discuss the weather and her travels. No joke. She asked me if it was always this negative of an experience. Apparently, ma'am, apparently...

Some extra training on making the drinks on the menu and how to speak to customers...

I go into the drive thru and I handed the girl at the register a gift card and my own card to cover the rest of the payment. She used my card first and then scanned the gift card assuming that I wanted to know how much was on the card and I expressed to her that I wanted to use the card. I didn’t get my money back until Monday this occurred on a Thursday. Then she hands me the first drink I ordered and it was in the wrong size, she hands me the next drink I ordered and it was hot I asked for it to be iced. Then finally I get my last drink and it’s made out of OAT MILK when I asked for COCONUT MILK at this point I am furious, ferocious even and I don’t make her take it back so I kept it that way and it was disgusting and full of ice. Today once again I go and ask for my regular order and both of the drinks I ordered I asked for cold foam on them. They mixed the cold foams up and gave me the CHESNUT COLD FOAM when I asked...

We travel for work and are currently in Dodge City but have been to so many different Starbucks, we pretty much go every day. But we have gone almost everyday for two weeks to the Dodge City one and order the same thing every time hoping it will be better the next day and every day the drink we have been getting for years is absolutely terrible at this location. It seems like they never put the right amount of espresso in the drink, mind you I’ve been getting the same drink for years at several different Starbucks and they always taste great but they have not made it right once at...
