Went with a few family friends and was pleasantly surprised. I am a proud black women born and raised in NY NJ states. I am accustom and very comfort around any type of nationality. There were no black people here and yes I was with a entire group of Caucasian women different generations. They space was bigger then I expected. I enjoyed myself. The couples were dancing like dancing with the stars. Let me tell u black folks don't dance in couples usually in this setting so I had live entertainment watching dancing with the stars. Also we had a live band I really enjoy life music and play quite a few instruments myself they were a good band. When the lead singer started walking across empty tables I knew I was in for a entertaining evening. I was offered drinks but being the only black person in the room of all these excitement and entertainment I passed on drinking. I did have a grilled cheese which was basic and played pool which in a shark and the tables are tiny so not much fun but gave me something to do when the band took a break andbthe DJ started playing music which was also nice to have the DJ there also. I visted a 2nd time brought a friend from up north there when she visited yesterday she is black also and guess what I offered her drink she refused and did the same thing I did my first visit observed and enjoyed the entertainment. Didnt know they could drop down that low lol..all I can say it's worth the visit to witness what I am barely describing definitely something to see and experience. Single-handedly the worst bar experience I’ve ever had. The bar itself and the atmosphere weren’t that bad. However, my whole experience was tainted by the incredibly rude young woman and older man at the door. The young girl at the door was doing seemingly nothing and when I approached to ask a question she all but yelled at me and looked at me like I was stupid. She then handed off my question to the older man who actually talked to me like I was stupid. Incredibly incredibly rude service. Great live music! Table service was excellent. Empty glass and beer cans removed promptly and consistent wait staff checking on tables. Not the largest I've been to, but top 3. #1 for their live music. Great local bands and, from what I understand, some good celeb visits as well. Plenty of seating and bar access.
