Absolutely the worst Tropical Smoothie ever! I have never had a good experience at this location. It started with the avacolado having maybe 300% more chia than any other location. One experience the employees were obviously fighting amongst themselves and not serving the customers watching in utter disbelief. The once they "MISSED" my order come in. I ordered again that same week and wondered what would go wrong "this time" and just decided to not find out. I left $13 there because I just couldn't do it. Today after finding the North side store out of power and I was out of time I decided to order online and pick it up.....wrong decision. Got there, pulled into the drive thru and sat there....for a while.... The first vehicle in line was a truck, the second a car, and then me. I sat there seems like 15 minutes. The car ahead of me had to wait 2 minutes or longer to order and it took a while for her to get her order (Tropical Smoothie just takes time, it's worth it-usually) this took way too long. The truck in the front was just sitting and waiting on the order pinning in the car between us keeping the line held up. The staff should have pulled him. I backed out, parked and went inside to grab my food allowing the car to back out ultimately. My wrap wasn't full based on servings and portions from other locations. Wasn't bad otherwise. The Smoothie was a different story entirely. It tasted like they put about a third the normal ingredients in it as other stores do. I dont know how but there were parts of it that just seemed like blended ice. It all goes into a blender! How does that even happen?! but it did. It did.
Never again. I'll never again eat here. The north side store is fantastic. That's easy. Southside? Cold...
Read moreJune 11, 2021. I will never order from this location again. I placed an online order, to make it easy and quick. Joined the drive thru line at 4:14pm, (last time the inside was closed with no sign on door). I called 6 times to try and confirm if the inside was open or not. No answer. Once blocked in the drive thru I could see customers inside, o well, too late. So I wait for 15 min for the 2 cars ahead to be helped and moved. Finally I get to the window and wait another 10 min while I see customer after customer being handed their order inside yet noone ever comes to drive thru to even acknowledge I'm there. Finally I catch a customers attention and motion for them to tell an employee I'm there. Finally someone shows up with an attitude from the start, I'm like I've been sitting in this line for 25min (total) which she told me I was lying. I asked for my order and a number to call. She said we only have 3 people working, and that's fine, I understand short staffing with covid lately, but at least acknowledge that you have drive thru customers. She said fine I'll give you the number for corporate, she gives me a card with the same number I called 6 times with no answer while I was in the drive thru! Then she told me mobile orders are supposed to come inside and get the order...I WOULD HAVE, if I'd have known they were open inside. This was my second time ordering from here, 1st time was a hassle, this time...
Read moreI've been to TSC all over the East Coast..I love them. Not this one. When I tried to scan my barcode on my phone for points, she was nasty and said you have to scan the bottom of your receipt. I mentioned I've never done it that way and her response was, " well that's how we do it now". I tried entering the bar code from my receipt and it didn't work. I tried entering the numbers and it said I'd already done so, which wasn't true. I asked for help, I presume the manager came over and said the machine was broken and I had to enter the barcode in manually. I explained to her I had already tried and it won't take it.. She wasn't very helpful and rather short with me. They weren't busy and seemed fully staffed. I've been very patient during covid because all my kids were servers and I get it. When I did get my smoothie I had to ASK for the special straw that came with my drink. I'll be going to the other one in town from now on. ...
