Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Douglas

So we decided to try Church's Chicken say which we have never been there before. We also will never go back ever again. We bought the Feed 6 Family Meal for $25.99 which came with a choice of three family size sides or two family size sides and six biscuits. We choose the two sides with biscuits, with mashed potatoes and fries. Family Size? You must be kidding Church's, these fries are about a McDonald's medium and the mashed potatoes wouldn't feed 6 babies as a side item. I have included pictures to show this ridiculousness. Especially since they couldn't even fill this tiny fry container which is supposed to feed 6. We will stick with KFC! I grew up in Texas where Church’s originated, so I am familiar with this chain. This location is a disappointment. Entered and only had one group of three in front of us. The employee preferred chatting with this group for around 10 minutes until another employee came to the counter to get our order. I ordered chicken and fries. Wife got chicken fried steak and okra. The fries tasted funny, as did my wife’s chicken fried steak. Concluded the fryer oil was not fresh. The biscuits were flat and tiny and looked nothing like I remember, or what was in the photos. This Church's advertises spicy chicken, and every time I've been to this establishment the response I get, "we don't have spicy chicken here. " I follow up and ask, "then why is it on your menu?" The response I get is, "I don't know. " On the website they advertise, they open at 10:00 a.m. when I went to Church's on the door, the open hour posted was 10:30. I signaled the person inside to come to the door and said to her, through the door, online, it says," You open at 10:00." She said nothing and pointed to the sign on the door.
