Read moreAte at the depot last night it was the worst experience we ever had there we ordered the ribeye and after waiting for 20 mins had to ask the hostess if she could plz bring our drinks since we hadnt even got them yet we'd also asked (also the hostess) that our salads and appetizer be brought before or meal in which she said shed let our server know a short time later our salads appetizer and meal were brought out together against our request by the time we finished our salads not touching the appetizer so we could eat our steaks our meal was cold throughout our meal our server never once came back to check on us or ask if we needed anything she checked on the tables around us but deliberately avoided us completely after we were done we once again had to ask the hostess for our bill and had to wait till we were at the counter ready to pay and leave before the server brought it to us I asked her why she didn't bother checking on us to which she didn't answer and being a server myself seen that they only had 5 tables in the restaurant not that busy to require us being neglected in the extreme that we were since it was a Saturday and Sunday they were closed I told her I would be calling on Monday to talk to a manager which she rudely replied do what you got to do! We usually eat there regularly and spend quite a bit there when we eat but after this last experience will never eat there again service has gone downhill and I recommend finding another restaurant with better friendlier service before...
Read moreHi! My name is DANIEL and I work as a waiter at this very restaurant. We've been in business for over a dozen years now, and I just HAD to be the one to leave the 800th (Whoo-hoo!) Google Review for The Depot! With gourmet dishes like our creamy Shrimp Alfredo, American Favorites like our famous and flavorful "Train Wreck" Burger, In-House-Smoked Pulled Pork & Prime Rib every Friday Night, as well (or as rare) as Grilled Steaks, fresh (daily-prepared) Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Unique Salads & Signature Wraps, all made complete by a moist slice of (home-made) Chocolate Bavarian Torte --- not to mention MY stellar (and unparalleled) service --- who WOULDN'T want to EAT at THE DEPOT: a converted old train station with the coal cars still clacking down the tracks out back? Somewhat hard to find, yet worth it! If you choose, you may enjoy your meal surrounded by seasonal flowers and flickering lanterns (if it's dark) within our outdoor patio, where even your leashed pupster - tired from traveling all day - will be welcome! Open until 9 (or later during summer months), handicap accessible, fun for kids, with plenty of parking (on the south side). Skip those big franchises for a change and come dine in a family-owned Wyoming restaurant with a homey atmosphere (and a full bar), where you can sample one of our local craft beers along with some hot buffalo wings, or a plate of our tasty maple-glazed sweet-potato fries. Okay, that's...
