Benson's Market & Catering — Restaurant in Dover

The people are very discriminating an judgmental. The boss has no respect for his employees. He makes being there feel very uncomfortable. It’s definitely not sanitary what so ever to the point they make the food with there bare hands. (no gloves)!! I don’t know about you but seems how many germs and bacteria there is now days definitely a nasty place, somewhere I wouldn’t want to work at. The boss told me directly that the reason he won’t make it a restaurant or have tables outside is because he wants you to make the purchase and leave so he doesn’t have to worry about people “coming back in and bitching” It’s to the point the health department got involved and they had to hire a cleaning crew to clean up real quick so they don’t get shut down. Yes the food looks great but looks can be deceiving when it comes to cleanliness!! But the yoders market I did a walk threw with them and I’d definitely give 5 stars. The people are very well clean and respectful to the point even the workers up front have gloves on and hair nets. We walked in for our first time and our son 3years old was so happy to walk in. He got so excited. He touched one of the glass doors and we said “no,no”. Then we turned around to a lady shaking her head at our child with the nastiest look ever. Kids will touch things sometimes. Shaking your head at a three year old what is wrong with you. I will definitely be telling everyone about my experience....

Benson’s catered an 80th birthday party for us this weekend. All arrangements were made via the phone as we are from out of town and everything as as requested.
