Toland-Herzig has handled many of my family's funerals and remains processing. They manage to make a difficult time as painless as possible. My father was a pastor and officiated many funerals here for friends and family, so when my Daddy passed I had no question on who I should use to handle his remains and final arrangements. The staff here is so kind and more than willing to handle requests. They helped me with getting his veteran's flag, provided information on transferring titles and contacted social security, and at my request even provided me with a separate smaller container of his ashes to be pressed into a gem stone. I felt like I was able to grieve in my own way, and in my own time, knowing that everything was in their capable hands. They even checked in on me a month later to ensure I was doing okay and to see if there was anything else they could do to help. While losing a loved one, especially a parent, is the most difficult thing someone can go through, the team at Toland-Herzig made the process easier for me and my family. Read more03/28/2024.. This Museum was a gem! You can't beat friendly people, free admission, easy to get to. The museum was extremely informative and easy to understand. We can tell the curator put lots of time and thought into dovetailing all of the stories and tying this together. It is clean, there are pictures and stories and a video. We're definitely going back during another weekday. For me,it was very easy to relate to, having grown up in the 60s and forward, having gone through and experienced a lot of what was in there through these famous people and a few animals too. Read moreI brought my little dog in. She was wrapped in 2 blankets straight from the vet from being euthanized. They asked me if I had wanted the blankets back after cremation and I said yes I do. My fiance was with me and clearly heard me say I wanted them back as well. A few days later they called to tell me my dog was ready so I went to pick her remains up. I didn't realize until a couple hours later that I hadn't received the blankets back so I called them. They told me they didn't realize I said I wanted them back and said they got rid of them.
