Currently 6am on a Monday morning, the day after I had dinner at this place. This is my 4th time back to the toilet since 130am. I should have just slept here. Appetizers were great, bacon wrapped jalepenos and cheese sticks were great. My pain killer had close to zero alcohol in it but did taste good. Then here comes the main course.. I ordered the thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings and asked for the gravy on the side..as soon as it hits the table it didn't look like comfort food I was expecting. 1st off, where are all the fixings? It looked off and the thin gravy was all over my turkey, not on the side like I asked. W.e no big deal, I'm starving, so I dig in.. turkey had a weird texture and after taste so after a couple bites I start to really look at my turkey. I paid an extra dollar for all white meat. I flipped the turkey slices over and the white meat was grey and multi colored . That explains why the gravy had the turkey covered and didnt come on the side.. bottom line is I believe my night has been spent on the toilet cause of poor food safety and under knowledged staff handling and preparing the food. Do the restaurant a favor and take that turkey dinner off your menu.. the waitress was nice and tenitive but was forgetfull. Floors and other tables were left dirty during our whole dine in experience. I'm really sorry to leave a review like this cause I know it can damage a business but both customers and the restaurant deserve to know of my experience. I won't be back. Do better! I recommend all cooks getting food safe certified and just care a little more about what you are serving guests.. if you won't eat it, then Don't sell it. She takes my husband and I drink order and returns with out drinks. I got a coke and it tasted like they haven't cleaned the soda machine in ages. My husband got a margarita with dirty ice in it. My husband's friend gets there and has to find us himself since the person at the front walked away from him when he tried talking to her.. before we ordered I informed the waitress of my shellfish allergy. We ordered potato skins which were over cooked, filled with grease, and some of them tasted like seafood. So I was very wary of the rest of the food that was to come out. I had gotten the monte Christo which wasn't bad. My husband got a salad with Buffalo chicken on it and blue cheese dressing. The blue cheese dressing did not look like blue cheese dressing. His friend ordered a super club sandwich which had barely any ham on it, and a side ceaser which when brought out was a full ceaser salad. The ceaser dressing was so think and chunky it didn't even fall off the fork when taken out of the little container it was in. We had mentioned to the waitress that it was suppose to be a side salad not a full salad and she said she was going to put it as a side salad on the bill which she did not. She was very rude the entire time. When she asked how it was after seeing we barely ate any of it she decided to cut us off and walk away when we tried to tell her what was up. I refused to eat more than a couple bites of my meal because of the chance that they could have criss contaminated. We will never be back to that place. Food was disgusting, hospitality sucked....

The Back 40 is run by adolescents who lack the training, Supervision and Managerial Competence to ensure ACCURATE preparation of simple orders for food. After repeated poor service of not getting what was ordered on multiple visits AND complaining to Back 40 staff, I finally called "Management" at the restaurant. I explained my families patronage over the years and satisfaction with the restaurant but utter disappointment over the poor service and LACK of quality customer care in the Back 40 grill and the juvenile staff that run it. I was placated with a promise of a gift card to enjoy at the restaurant (which never came!) and told that they are aware of the dismal performance of the staff, yet they do nothing about it. Shame on you OWNERS of Strafford Farms! Your "Managers" and crew need an update before your building becomes just another...
