Pelican's SnoBalls — Restaurant in Downingtown

We love this place! It's a great after school or camp stop, and there is so much to choose from, you can get something different every time. We also get Pelican Bucks here for end of season street hockey awards and the kids love them.

Yesterday, I got my favorite, stuffed grape, and they had giant gummy bears! (Yeah, I'm 43 years old. So what 🤣). The kids that were working had a crowd and they were doing a fantastic job. The young man that waited on me went out of his way to thank me for the tip that I gave him. He was friendly and impressive.

We will, of course, be back. Many times, probably. We'll bring our dogs and get a pup...

This place is great! I have been going to this location for a couple of years now and I've always had a positive experience. This year they have soft serve ice cream on their menu; you can order some by itself or you can get a "stuffed" snowball which has the ice cream inside and on top of the snowball (pictured). There are picnic tables and a small yard in the back where you can play tether ball or corn hole. The service is always good even if it's busy. The owner is very nice and will gladly help you with recommendations and off-menu requests (ask for a Neopolitan!). It's affordable and better...

This place has become a delicious habit! I can't go by without stopping for a 'Snowball'! So many flavors and add ons as well. Do not pass up this delightful treat! Not your typical water ice...it's light and fluffy and sooo delicious! Samples given if you just can't make up your mind! The list of flavors is finominal! Try yourself some Dill pickle, toothpaste, (yes, you read that right!), rootbeer, coffee, they have a few color free flavors, ...add some delicious toppings like Hershey's syrup, cream or mmm sweetened condensed milk (my favorite on Tamarind!), even gummy...
