Eating at the Pizza Cave in Dripping Springs, TX, was a delightful experience that left my taste buds dancing with joy. This hidden gem is right off a main road in the heart of Texas surprised me with its exceptional pizza, reminiscent of the crispy, thin pies you'd find on the streets of New York City.

The star of the show at Pizza Cave is undoubtedly their pizza. The crust was thin, crisp, and perfectly charred, providing the ideal canvas for a generous topping of fresh ingredients. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, from the savory sauce to the perfectly melted cheese. It was like taking a culinary trip to the Big Apple without leaving Texas.

What sets Pizza Cave apart is its family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant boasts ample seating, making it a great spot for gatherings with loved ones. If you prefer a more laid-back experience, their back patio offers a picturesque view that's perfect for enjoying a meal in the open air. And if you're looking to unwind with a drink, the bar serves up a variety of beverages to complement your pizza.

But the icing on the cake, or should I say the melody in the slice, was the live music. Pizza Cave frequently hosts local musicians, creating a lively and entertaining backdrop to your meal. It's an excellent place to relax, savor great pizza, and tap your foot to some tunes.

Pizza Cave in Dripping Springs, TX, is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts and anyone seeking a warm, inviting atmosphere. Their New York-style pizza, family-friendly setting, ample seating, beautiful patio, and live music make it a standout dining destination in the area. I can't wait to return for another slice of...

This was the most saddest and upsetting dinner me and my family have ever went to...me and my family walked in with such big hopes and left sonhurt and disappointed and questioning life...we got there the waiter took our order brought our drinks..came back 5 minutes later and took our order....all started well...but then a hr goes by and nothing not even our appetizers are brought out (we got bread knots and sticks) so we ask the waiter how much longer it would be...guy leaves come back with a major attitude in his voice and tells my family that if we wanna leave we can and this his manger is in the back and that he forgot to put our order in then smacked his lips...mean while this whole time the waiter time he walks by our table and asked if we needed drinks but then says he forgot about us...mean while (and this is gonna sound bad.) Took very well care of other table who where filled and seated guest who where after us and white and thinner (me and my family are a bigver family and Hispanic) even couples that came after us got seated and feed while me and my family waited and where forgotten...me and my family left and will not go back

2/15/2019 thank you for ataking care of the issue. We would love to try this again. My son has baskeball practice on Saturdays in Dripping and we can go then. But it will not be until the evening and hope that this will not cause a issue. we can be there around 615ish on Saturday. It will be for 8-9 people.. I Hope that will not cause a problem. Plz let me know . Thank you again for...

Incredibly weird and underwhelming experience, here. First, we call in our order to find that while they have an extensive menu of pizza, sandwiches, and salads, they don't have any sides. Ok? Luckily we were offered a bag of chips to go with the cheesesteak we ordered. We also ordered a greek salad with chicken and two drinks. The order taker was either not well-versed in the menu or not well-versed interacting with human beings- I wasn't able to figure out which. I had to repeat simple questions and requests several times- a frustrating experience. Finally, we were informed our order of a salad and a sandwich would be ready in "25-30 minutes." Ok? So we arrive at that time to walk in to a completely empty restaurant with about 8 employees visible and walk up to get our order. RECORD SCRATCH. Everyone stops to stare and I actually wondered if I was in the right place. I inform them I'm here to pick up my order and they proceeded to pull the HOT SANDWICH FROM THE FRIDGE and hand it to us. Why???? I had to remind them about the chips and the drinks... after disappearing for about 5 minutes, the cashier girl handed us two very sad looking drinks (that's a coke in the photo) and took our payment. We leave only to realize we have no napkins or utensils with which to eat. Incredibly odd and disappointing experience for what amounts to be mid food at best. Thankfully we will never be back...

Edit Jan '24- even worse! The flavor is blah, the vibe is bad, the service is slow, and the place is kinda dumpy. You can't eat the pizza without a fork and knife. Ordering the crust well done only makes it tough and hard to eat, not crispy and sturdy. The chicken on the BBQ pizza is almost too dry to eat. And it has hardly any BBQ sauce on it making it even drier. They were out of desserts for the kids (one birthday) except some stale old brownies. Original review - I really want to give this place 5 stars as most of the food is really good. The biggest downside is the flimsy-ness of the pizza. We ordered well-done and we got something that wasn't edible without folding it over on itself or without a fork. The pizza tasted really good, just wish it was crispy and held up better.
