Twins Pizza — Restaurant in Dublin

I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. Whatever you do DO NOT eat in. We made this mistake and were there for almost two hours and were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waitress was trying but the kitchen just wasn’t coming through. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant kitchen. It took over 30 minutes for us to get fried pickles which take 3 minutes max to cook. My house salad was very fresh, but mine came out about twenty minutes before my husband had to ask for his ceaser. He ordered spaghetti and i ordered a chicken parm sandwich which was cut up chicken tenders with sauce and cheese. His spaghetti was mediocre. We were overall unimpressed. Ordered take out, the lady on the phone was super nice, we were told 30 minutes and it was ready on time. We ordered their $19.99 special. My boyfriend and I eat pizza every week and decided to stray from our usual and try Twins and we did not really enjoy it. This is not a pizza you can pick up from the box and eat. The toppings slid right off and the crust ripped from the rest of the pizza when I tried. We had to use a fork and knife. My boyfriend got pepperoni and “bacon” I put bacon in quotes because it was definitely turkey bacon. I got ham and pineapple and the pineapple chunks were HUGE. I currently live close to Twins Pizza, I love the food, it’s absolutely delicious! The salads are awesome! Everything we have tried is great! When I volunteer late, I call in and pick up and the owners as well as staff are wonderful!! I just read some of reviews stating slow service and would like to say that with such shortages of staff all over our country, We have to understand and be aware that they are all trying very hard to make us happy, I’ve seen the twins lovely mother in there working to help due to staff shortages so Let’s all be more patient and kind and know that the food is worth the wait!
