This place is located in front of the Travel Inn motel and next to Hardee's. It's got a nice, quaint environment with both chair or bench seating. It usually isn't packed but can get busy on nice weekends. Easy to find but take CAUTION driving up to the parking area-the entrance closest to Hardee's is a steep incline and the road is really damaged, so it's easy to scrape the front and rear end of vehicle esp if approaching too quickly. The other entrance is a bit better, and best for exiting too. You can call in and pick up order. They do deliver but in a very small radius. Plus, it'll take much longer. As for food quality--it was ok. My son, who is not a teen with a fickle appetite said he did NOT enjoy his plain Philly steak and cheese. He said there was "pretty gross". My husband thought his Philly steak supreme was "ok". He said it's not something he'd prefer to eat again but could. I actually thought my steak and cheese, which was the one that fell in the middle of theirs (can't recall name) was better than ok but not great. The flavor is lacking and the meat texture is... Different. Seemed a bit more on the chewy side, to me. The 12" subs ran just under $8 each. We had a small fry order, too... And both of my boys did not care for the wilty, soft texture. I thought they were ok. The issue is the way they package. They use styrofoam containers. Upon placing the very hot items in them and the cooler temps--condensation builds up inside quickly! Now, we called ours in for pickup. Upon entering, the lady asked if I was the one with the subs. I said yes. She handed me a large bag with three large containers. I paid and left. It hit me that I didn't have the 2L I ordered, so I went back in and told her. She said that she didn't charge me but to grab one and she'd ring me up. No, thanks. I leave. I run into a convient store and my phone is ringing and ringing. I pick up. It's Verona's telling me to return because they had my fries still! I was disappointed. When I arrived (subs are cold now) she rings me up. She said she didn't charge me earlier. Had I known, I wouldn't have returned. This adds to the dampness of bread and fries condition by the time I got home. For three small fries it was an additional $8+! I doubt we'll be returning anytime soon. *side note: We had their pasta (Carbanara and spaghetti) about 8 months ago. The pastas were large and head a nice flavor. So, if you like pasta is consider that route. Hope this long, detailed...

If I could give a 0, I would. My fiancé and I are newer to the area and decided to try this place out. I looked at the newest reviews before we called, (it's just something I do) and I thought, "Okay, that sounds great!" We called and asked about the specials. We were told $17.99 for a 1 topping XL pizza, garlic knots and a 2 liter. Okay, cool. It was $1 more than what their advertisement shows online but no big deal. When we arrived, my fiance went in to get it and pay. He comes out with the food and asks me how much it's supposed to be. I tell him $17.99 + tax. He said they charged him $23 and some change. He went in and asked for the receipt and she tells him that her daughter told him the wrong price for it and that they (ironically) weren't doing specials this week and that we weren't charged for the drink.

Uhm... Let's see... Here's our receipt. Where on here are we not charged for the drink? Why does the subtotal before tax come to $20.73 instead of 17.99? I even did the math and put the tax on each individual item and it still didn't come up at the $23.28. Anyone care to explain? 🫠

This woman was extremely hateful. If her daughter was the one telling us the wrong price then she should be the one eating that price. I don't know how this place is still business.

Oh, also.... I'm posting this as a warning to other customers/potential customers because they've stated they don't give a damn about these. I hope...

Nice looking place but, while eating my food and trying to hold a conversation with my Girlfriend today one of the idiot's who work there was sitting down in the dining room with his phone turned up full blast listening to some type of annoying music when i looked over at him his coworkers noticed my glare and started laughing. Obviously to me it wasn't funny and i yelled for him to please turn his phone down after playing it wide open for 15 minutes as loud as it goes, he ignored me so i yelled at him again to please turn it down before another one of his coworkers actually got his attention that was sitting down at the table next to him and he finally turned it down. It was so loud i had to actually almost yell back n forth with my girlfriend to hear each other talk. It was ridiculous I've never seen a dining room ran so unprofessional in my life. All the employees were sitting down in the dining room in different tables across from me also playing with their phones. The salad didn't taste very well at all, however the main courses of mine and my girls were actually pretty good. I ordered lasagne and she ordered meatball parm. I will not eat here ever again though due to horrible...

This was tough. The exterior definitely needs some attention, landscaping is overgrown, signs are peeling and fading. It just needs so TLC. When you walk in I wasn’t sure if I was in an Italian restaurant or probably more like a Mexican restaurant. It is obviously family run. The menu is very large. Unfortunately they do not serve alcohol, just wanted a beer but nope. We got 12 in cheese and pepperoni, breadsticks and meat ball sub. Pepperoni pizza was decent but would not make Dave Portnoys list by any means. The meatball sub was okay but the meatballs did not match up to the size of the bread. This hit the spot for what we needed this night but probably would not return until some upgrades.

We recently heard about Verona's and excited to try them after hearing they delivered to our area. After no one answered we went to check it out and found they were closed on a Monday despite what Google said. Thinking it was likely due to staffing we tried again tonight and had a great experience dining in. I mentioned to someone that turned out to be the owner about the hours and he was unaware that it had reverted back to old hours as they haven't been open on Monday for years. The food was great, great prices and portions were huge so we have lunch tomorrow! See attached delicious calzone pic! Excited to try more of the menu items! Definitely worth trying!
