5.8.24 @7:30 pm - My family and I really enjoyed this food. We ordered 8 pieces of dark fried chicken and medium fries. The plain crinkle fries were fresh, and crispy. Note there were no seasonings or salt on the fries, but they tasted like good ole' potatoes. Add your own salt/ seasoning if you have it. The chicken had a good balance of salt, but I didn't taste any flavors or seasonings. The chicken was fresh and crispy as well. This was a walk-in and order. Not sure if they have pre-order. No dining in here. I would definitely order here again. My only gripe is there were no napkins, salt/pepper packs, ketchup, nothing besides the food itself in a large brown paper bag. I love the plainness of it all, but we could've used some ketchup packets with that huge bag of fries. I just changed from 4 stars to 5 because I'm craving another meal from Jack's. We were the last customers of the day, so maybe they just forgot to include the basics. I'll let you know how it goes round 2. Again, the food was so good. It took about 15 minutes to fry it all fresh. Wow! Paid about $18+. Cashier was nice and helpful, too.

Extremely disappointing chicken. Watched them pull pre-made frozen fries and chicken tenders out of bags. Tasted like it too. Underwhelming with no juicyness or seasoning. Slaw was decent. Macaroni salad pretty plain. I think the onion rings were their best dish, thin, crispy, and dripping with flavor. Their ranch was very mediocre too, definitely not homemade, as you'd expect from a place like this. Customer service was fine and they were friendly. Not anywhere to eat in the restaurant, which is fine. But it can get stuffed in the waiting area indoors. I just don't see what the hype is around this place, to be quite honest. Maybe I ordered the wrong things? But I'd be hard pressed to come back when I can fry my own frozen tenders.

Everything I have ever done right in my life led me to this steamy little fryer closet of happiness. If you love yourself, one day you will find this portal to heaven. Ever play wolfenstein 3d? The idealized flavour that your young and artificially adrenalized brain created for those pixelated chicken legs in the game pales in comparison. Also their Mac salad is one of the few times I've found sweet pickles to indisputably be a food item. Our box of chicken was so fresh it was uncomfortably hot to carry back to the house.(I burned the roof of my mouth eating a French fry in the car and I have 0 regrets) Great service. Reasonably priced. Jack's chicken Palace is a slice of grimy glory. 9.5/10 will be back.

Ordered 3 chicken dinners 1 with onion rings instead of fries, in which they CHARGE EXTRA FOR (which is fine), Mac salad and 2 extra rolls tonight. I got there, they informed me that they cooked my chicken in the fish fryer and it was going to be re-dropped. They told me it would be 12 more minutes because mine was burnt. Okay fine. Well it was 20 minutes. Still, fine whatever. But from the time i ordered to the time i sat to eat it had been an hour. With previous owners it was in and out in no time. I could order, pickup and eat in less than an hour. Anyways. I sat down to eat, opened the box and they didn't put my onion rings in with the chicken dinner. If I liked fries, wouldn't have been charged extra and not just waited an hour for this, i wouldn't have cared as much. But to do all that jussssst to have it wrong, ugh. I tried calling up there 4 times and then I'm pretty sure they unplugged the phone or shut it off because I called and additional 3 times and got a dial tone. Since it was close to 8pm I'm sure that's what they did. I'm annoyed. We used to eat here literally once a week and gave the new owners a fair chance. But they've tweaked some things... which I've gotten over... but after this...I'm over it. NO...

VILE!!!

My friends and I ordered eight pieces of chicken, a pork tenderloin sandwich, some onion rings, and some macaroni salad for delivery. The chicken parts were completely meatless, and looked like they might have come off a canary. Also, the chicken and tenderloin, both, tasted as if they had been cooked in rancid, foul oil. It smelled disgusting, and everyone who tasted it ended up with roiling diarrhea or the greasy pukes. The onion rings were fair, and the salad was merely 'okay'.

Now, this is not the first time I've had a poor dinning experience here, but given it had been a few years since my last dinning experience, I was willing to try again, since everyone can have an off night. However, this was an absolutely miserable, and it ruined the night for myself, and my friends who were visiting from out of town.

Sadly, I cannot even give ONE star to this horrible experience. I will never be dinning here again, and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. If anything, PLEASE, for the love of God, change your oil, clean your fryers, and be very careful about whatever soap, detergent, or solvents residue might be getting put in contact with the food you are...
