My first trip did not disappoint and will definitely be back. Friendly staff and perhaps a bit of a miscommunication as the waitress didn’t acknowledge us or seem to see we were seated in her area. Very knowledgeable of their large selection of tap drinks and menu.

This is a trendy pub atmosphere with people of all ages and no kids. With a large bar in the middle of the room with TVs, not much of a family friendly atmosphere. There is a smaller dining section away from the bar, that might suit some families with children, but no tables available there on a Friday night around 5:30. We were able to get a tall table for two without a wait in the bar area. There is ample seating for larger groups too. No doubt the outside seating area is hopping in the summer.

Easy access off Kenwood at the intersection of Arrowhead you will drive around back to find the parking lot. The biggest challenge is parking. Tip- We recommend just starting off in the parking garage, since that’s likely where you will end up anyway! The surface upper lot is not well managed and with narrow lanes and people driving in both directions it’s a bit of a challenge. The entrance is well marked and a long hallway with one bench in case there is a long wait, at least you won’t be outside. There is really no space by the reception area to wait for your group, you’ll be out in the hallway!

For eats, a nice selection at a higher end foodie price. Expect the $12 range for a sandwich. This not an affordable date night place, but a fun and lively pub atmosphere. We are fans of Juicy Lucy’s and enjoyed the food. If you like a Good Rueben, be sure to add this place to your list to checkout. The fries were crispy and soft perfection.

For food sensitivities— They offer a GF bun option and it was decent and did not...

You know this place is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a decent meal, then at other times you get tonight. So we had a server that just couldn't care less. Not rude, but couldn't care less to do more than the minimum in almost a comical way, if I were watching someone else's experience.

So we ordered the new version of nachos....so very boring. No flavor, no spice/ heat, and a bunch of the frozen chicken was still stuck together

We both ordered the Thursday night special lucy. "Wow", he said in a very disappointed and bewildered tone. This thing, which was presently masquerading as a burger, was small and more than a little embarrassed. It would have made a white castle burger feel proud. The bun overwhelmed the burger, and the whole concoction was uninteresting. I had to add the queso from the uninspired nachos, along with a healthy dose of ketchup, to the burger so that it did not continue mimicking a tumbleweed in the desert. At least the fries weren't as cold as the beer.

Alas, I will keep searching for an instance of Duluth not bumbling a simple thing and acting as if it should be awarded as if it did some stupendous thing. Never mind, the city elections are right around the corner, so more disappointment is on the menu...

Honestly I love the food. I personally think the burgers are the best in Duluth or tied for my favorite.

However, I don't understand why you guys don't have Food Dudes deliver past 5 or 4:30PM? I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to order Food Dudes from you guys (at least 10 times now, including today), but it's always closed around dinner time. I'd understand if you closed the delivery at 3, because then I'd think you're targeting mostly people ordering for lunch, but since it closes right at 5 it doesn't make much sense. Granted I love going in to eat at restaurants but I live about a 30 minute drive from you and so this cutting off at 5-4:30pm thing has made you all lose money from me, and potentially countless other customers who have wanted to get your delivery for dinner.

So I didn't know what else to do but comment here about it. If maybe you guys could keep it delivering until 7pm (if possible) that would be awesome and I'd be ordering at least once or twice a week from y'all.

(This was brought on by me about to make an order from Food Dudes, but as I was adding items to the cart, it suddenly shut off and said you guys open back up for delivery at 11AM. This was because while I was ordering it became...

Monday after the Superbowl. Parking was tricky, but once inside, we were seated at a spacious booth. Inside felt like a typical Ale House/Bar/Club. Few customers, and even fewer workers. However, our server was polite and responsive. Previously reading about their Juicy Lucy burgers had us each ordering one, along with a very tasty appetizer, their Totchos. Basically, this was a jumbo (quite large, as it served us three) tater tot stuffed w/ Serrano peppers, bacon, green onions, and melted cheddar, pepper jack cheese, and sour cream. It was very tasty, and worth ordering! Our Juicy Lucy's, one Jalapeño, a Beer Cheese, and a Wrangler, also were very good, arriving at our booth shortly after our appetizer was finished. I would challenge the advertised half pound of fries, though. Our respective dishes had maybe a quarter pound of fries, each. We also shared a yummy dessert, the Turtle Brownie. This was a fabulous finish to our first visit. While there appear to be several negative reviews by other customers, we have only positive feedback to offer up. We now are loyal, raving fans! We highly recommend Crooked Pint Ale House and know we will be back.
