Salad will make you sick! Worker is unclean.
Edit: How typical, for such a garbage shop. "I have an unhappy customer, MUST BE A BOT." Instead of resolving an issue, you act like this? You're a child. This place will flounder eventually, and it'll be much deserved.
Responding to the owner's comment: Genuinely thought it was a bot. Never know what to believe anymore. Apologies. But I won't take the reviews lightly. That's a harsh accusation and it's very untrue. Wanting a new smal business to tank is wild. Anything 1 offer at this point isn't going to fix the issue. So I hope you have a better day.
Response: Never assume a review is “just a bot.” As a business owner, you should treat every person with the same level of humble respect and good intentions—especially when it comes to serious concerns like someone getting sick from your food. That’s not a minor issue for a food establishment; it raises concerns about cleanliness, hygiene, and potential contamination. This isn’t Facebook, Instagram, or Bluesky. People are allowed to disagree with you and not be bots. I know, shocking—especially when you’re riding the wave of high ratings as a new business. Friends and family sure can boost a launch.
You say you don’t take reviews lightly, yet your first response was a snide accusation that I was a bot. Is that your idea of taking feedback seriously?
What exactly is the “harsh accusation” here? That someone got sick after eating your food? Are you saying that’s untrue? That’s a bold claim on your part.
As a small business owner myself, I support other small businesses wholeheartedly. What’s really “wild” is your quick jump to gaslighting (see #2) and blaming the customer (see #3).
Yes, businesses that treat customers like garbage often self-destruct—and maybe — just maybe, there’s a lesson in...
Read moreI stopped in to grab a couple salads for myself and my wife in the first week they were open (congratulations!). All the food was fresh and the portions are AMAZING. For about $17 you get a huge, filling salad completely customized for your taste and preferences, loaded with fresh veggies and protein. I made a cozy roasted veggies salad with greens and wild rice that satisfied me for the whole day. The staff was warm, super accommodating, and knowledgeable. The space isn't built to hold a bunch of people at once, so it's limited to takeaway, but there are lots of places around Lincoln Park to sit and enjoy a salad on the lake and the salads are made in travel containers that make it easy to grab and go. They've also got a little apothecary full of awesome gifts and goodies for those with witchy inclinations. I can't wait to make this a regular stop...
Read moreRitual Salad is Delicious!! I was so happy to hear that a new salad place is in Duluth! I’m always on the search for an organic, healthy salad and this place achieves that and more! My parents and I went in today and got the wild rice soup as well the coconut curry and both were amazing. I find it hard to find vegetarian soups and so I was very excited when I found these! I also got a build-your-own salad and all of the ingredients taste very fresh and healthy. The owner, Corey, was very welcoming and kind. My parents and I will definitely be returning to ritual salad and I am super excited about the new location that is soon to be in Lakeside. This is the best place to get a great bowl of soup and a nutritious, delicious...
