Bambino Pizza — Restaurant in Dunedin

We have lived in the area for a year and a half and never gone. I don't know why. Dumb decision.

We ordered 2 calzones on a Thursday evening. They were $5 each. And HUGE! They come loaded with ricotta and other cheeses but nothing else. To add additional toppings is 89 cents or $1.50 depending on whether it is considered a traditional topping or a gourmet topping. Jalapenos are considered gourmet, consider yourself warned.

These things were wonderful. And enough to feed us for 2 nights. The only thing we would say is there did not seem to be much sausage and peppers in either one. Still delicious but next time I will order double sausage.

The restaurant is clean and well kept. It was not busy but it was raining horribly and was after 8 pm so not surprising. They do deliver for free so be sure to tip your driver since they brought your food to your door and you didn't have to go out.

I will return. I will order the calzone again. And I would definitely order other items off the menu as it smelled wonderful...

I just moved to Dunedin, not far from Bambino and I was excited to see what they had to offer. As long time New Yorkers, my wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by the authentic New York quality and menu items. Their pizza is made to order and cooked to perfection, so sometimes it takes a little time, but that’s to be expected, and it’s worth it.

They have everything you’d expect and want. The stuffed shells are delicious. Even the sauce for the mozzarella sticks is seasoned perfectly. Their cannolis are made to order and as good as any NYC bakery.

There are so many other things I want to try.

I highly recommend Bambino.

PS, mozzarella sticks are deep-fried, breaded, cheese sticks, not cheesy bread. Pps, lots of people giving one star reviews and saying the food is great. That’s not how this works. If the food is great but you had to wait 15 minutes, that’s not a one...

I have had their pizza on 2 different occasions looking for something different because the same old pizza joints in my area lowered their standards and you can tell by the taste. But Bambino Pizza has raised the bar, let me tell you. Their pizza is good every time and you can tell they take great pride in their ingredients because it always tastes fresh. They don't cook your pizza too long, its always perfect and crispy crust mmm...mmm...Mmm! They have never disappointed me. Even though they don't deliver in my area I don't mind driving a few minutes to get their pizza or food, verses the pizza joints in my area.

When I get there, I'm always greeted with smiles and the food is always consistently good. I wind up eating a few slices on the way back home! :)
