Kami Japan — Restaurant in Dunn

This place was amazing. I have been craving it ever since. I ordered the steak Udon noodles and it was incredible. My kids ordered the hibachi. One got the shrimp hibachi and the other got the chicken. Theirs were served with sweet carrots which i couldnt resist straling bites off but also had the typical hibachi vegetables like mushrooms and such. White sauce is extra per cup. I believe they give you 2 with each entree. I didnt try it but my girls were happy with it. Man, those noodles were good and ther servings are plenty. Dont expect a 5 star restaurant,. Its a place to grab a quick bite of food but...

If I could leave zeros stars I would. I’ve been a faithful to this restaurant for years, however, the last time I went in I get to the counter, the girl takes my order, asks if I would like it for there or to go. I told her I would be eating there. I waited for over 30 minutes for my food, once she brings it to the table she said “we’re closing and you need to leave”. She was telling others eating to leave as well. To be located in such a small town with a far superior option for Japanese food the staff should consider better customer service. First time visiting this restaurant. Based off the star rating, we decided to visit. I ordered the chicken express bowl. The lighting was nice and it was very clean inside. My order did not take long. The restaurant had just opened with only two other customers waiting to be served while they sat. The chicken was dry and a few pieces tasted different. The carrots and rice were decent. Yum yum sauce had a vinegar taste. I am not sure if that is normal at this establishment, but it's the first time I have tried this type.
