I loved this place. The server Kory was amazing with wonderful suggestions. I had the pork tenderloin that was fresh and hand pounded not frozen. The homemade dill cucumber dip and chips were phenomenal, the beer selection was great. My daughter had the steak Mac and cheese and it was delicious. Ambiance is wonderful and all around good place. Must visit. Can’t wait to try the grilled cheese with dates! Wish Kory was still there. The staff didn’t seem to know the answer to any question I asked and they charged me $4 for a chaser of beer a literal shot of beer. I would have bought a bottle of beer for $3. I would warn a customer on that. 🤔 everyone said they live on Durand and couldn’t give any info on the city and the festivities going on. The place is cool. It’s just changed in the service aspect. If you don’t know. Get someone who does.

I LOVE The Fire Barn. I have never had a bad experience since the new owners came along. Everyone is so kind. The food is consist and good everytime. I love the general manager, Sean. He's a star. He always checks in and greets the customers. It's much appreciated. Maddy is our favorite server. She is so sweet and adorable. She always has the best hairstyles. I love coming in just to see her hair. This time, I tried the new Pear Brie Flatbread and the pumpkin Chai Tini. The Fire Barn gets 5 stars from my family all day!

Good place in Durand. Nice atmosphere, it looked recently remodeled. Farm modern My husband and I had their Friday specials for lunch. Hubby the deep fried cod, me their western burger. He said his cod was good, three smaller pcs., crispy outside, nicely done inside. Coleslaw and fries for sides. Mine was a tasty burger piled HIGH with pulled pork, deep fried onion strings, and coleslaw. I had to eat it with a fork! Tavern chips were over done. Otherwise meal was good. If we go that way again, we'd stop again.

This restaurant has severely gone down hill over the last couple years. My husband and I just had dinner here for a date night and I wish we had picked somewhere else to eat. We arrived a little before 6pm on a Tuesday evening. There were only three other tables occupied there, yet it somehow took almost an hour to get our food. They only had one employee working both the bar and serving tables. Additionally, I could see the kitchen window from where we were seated, and I literally watched a kitchen worker place the buffalo chicken wrap I had ordered on a plate, not using any type of utensil or gloves. Then our food sat under a heating lamp for almost 15 minutes while the bartender / server ran around trying to help more customers who had shown up. We waited almost an hour for food that wasn’t even good. The chicken in my wrap was dry. Every time we needed something we had to stop the server and ask her, because she was the only worker on the floor and didn’t have time to follow up with our table. I used to like coming here. The workers were friendly and the customer service and food were way better. I will not be coming back to The Fire Barn...

I continue to give it a chance because it's local. . . . Facebook menu had applewood bacon listed on burger . . . Was given cottage bacon, a cheap, limp canadian bacon-like substitute. I called back to mention this to which I got response that menu eecently changed and should have been noted in spite of fact I ordered one in August with bacon. I was challenged to go back to the menu and refresh my memory which caused me to think I was sure I had seen bacon listed on the menu for that Burger. I was right!! I called back and the owner answered and explained the very same thing regarding the cottage bacon. I told him he needs to update the Facebook carry out menu page because it still stated that applewood smoked bacon would be on that Burger. I've had this run in with food before with the establishment with nothing in recompense. I call myself done with the fire barn because there is no real customer service that's going to continue to either correct and rectify situations such as this or make amends to the purchaser and cause them to give the Fire Barn a second chance. Sorry...

The food has always been decent that is the reason for two stars.Went in this past Saturday afternoon they were somewhat busy but not packed by any means several empty tables. It took an hour after we ordered for the waitress to inform us that they forgot to start cooking my wife’s food. Took another 15 min to get it, we were told they would discount our meal and upon getting the check they only took 20% off my wife’s meal only. I spoke with the under-concerned manager and was told that they were busy(not really) and next time we come in they would give us a deal. I explained that if she didn’t give me a better discount there won’t be another time. We sat at our table with our 5month old for almost an hour and a half before getting served our food. Despite the discount I finally got I don’t think I’ll be returning. This was a regular bi-weekly place for us and it’s so close to home however we are tired of the terrible service and the staff obviously does not...
