Mrs. Flip Out had high hopes for this place since it had some great reviews. A core component of a coffee shop or restaurant is its customer service. As I started taking photos of this place, I overheard Mrs. Flip Out’s conversation with the guy inside. Without a menu in sight, Mrs. Flip Out had tried to order a small breve. The guy told her that they were out of half and half, so not sure what to order, she requested a menu. He dug around and found one. She then requested a small cold brew with cream. He rolled his eyes and said with an air of inconvenience, “I said, we’re out of cream.” Slightly confused, Mrs. Flip Out said, “I thought you said half and half.” To which he rolled his eyes again, and said “Half and half IS cream.” When she started to clarify, he interrupted, repeated what he said, adding “I’ve worked places. I know.” At this point, I told Mrs. Flip Out, he didn’t know what he was talking about and we’d go somewhere else. For that gentleman, cream is the thicker, higher fat content, skimmed from milk before processing the milk. Half and half is by definition two substances; in this case, half whole milk and half heavy cream. It is middle ground between milk and cream. I have not got 1 thing that I have not liked. They have coffee and if you want sweet coffee just ask them and will do that. Plus for the not coffee drinkers they have some fantastic lemonade and they even have strawberry lemonade and hot chocolate. Plus if you just want to swing by real fast on your way to take kids to school or yourself to work and have not had time to eat they have donuts and chocolate milk. In my opinion it's just what...
