There was a foreign object in my food!!!!
. I ordered $40 worth of food for take-out. When I got it home and started to eat, I took a bite of the rice and noticed I was chewing on something hard and corse. I took it out of my mouth to find it was a piece of metal from probably a stainless steel scrubber. As I noticed this my friend had already started eating her food, which she abruptly stopped. I called the restaurant to let them know what I found and requested a refund because I was obviously not eating this now. I felt like for the inconvenience they should have refunded both meals whether the other had been eaten or not. The lady I spoke with stated she would refund it if it was brought back after arguing with me about it. Even though neither of us now wanted the food anymore, I drove 10 minutes to get the food, 10 minutes back home, had to get back in the car and drive back to the restaurant to return the food which then left us without a meal. I didn’t mind bringing mine back, but not knowing if she wanted to continue eating hers I felt like both meals should have been refunded if she had wanted to still eat it. The lady stated that next time this wouldn’t be an issue. After finding and object and not having the restaurant at least attempt to rectify the issue I wouldn’t dare come back for a next time. If you eat here I strongly advise you check your food...
Read moreWorst excuse for hibachi I've ever seen. They don't even cook it to order, they cook large batches of meat at once and scoop It into a big bin to sit under a heatlamp and dry out. I've never seen any hibachi joints operate like this. Usually they cook it on the grill after you order, but instead I paid $15 for dry chewy flavorless leftovers. If I wanted leftovers I would have went to Golden corral 🤣 ..They don't even spray soy sauce on it while it's on the grill cooking like all other hibachi places do. No seasonings, nothing. Just plain ol steak and chicken, even at that it tasted like they have been re using and reheating the same meat leftover from the day before. Even the rice had this disticnt fowlness that sticks in your nose. Couldn't get it down without gagging. Horrible horrible horrible. Recommend avoiding this place at all costs. Threw the whole thing...
Read moreMajor bummer. We tried a few different things, ordering steak hibachi, scallop hibachi, chicken terriyaki, miso soup, and chicken udon. Meat and veggies were all incredibly underseasoned. My best guess is they're just expecting people to dump white sauce over their plate and that way they don't need to cook anything properly. "Ribeye" was incredibly poor quality meat. Mostly lots of fat and gristle. Udon noodles were soggy and mushy, not springy and bouncy. They were the right size and shape, so likely just over-cooked. The miso soup tasted like green tea that had nori added to it. There was something akin to miso paste at the bottom of the bowls, but there was no miso flavor there. The scallops were great. A little overcooked but otherwise very good.
Won't be ordering from...
