Voted “Best Italian Food” in the area!! Come try it! #FYP #foryou #foryoupage #pizza #italianfood #italian #restaurant #italianrestaurant

I found this place from, where else, Google. The fresh pasta reviews caught my attention. I ordered a dinner size Caesar salad, the baked rigatoni with meatballs a glass of their house chardonnay. Most of your reading this will undoubtedly, be from this area and be used to Old Forge style italian food. Old Forge is the unofficial pizza capital of the world. Oooof, the world? Maybe Pennsylvania. Old Forge style, in part, means it's loaded with melted mozzarella on top. What could be wrong with that? I just feel it's too much of a good thing. The rigatoni may not have been fresh pasta and was a little aldente for my taste. The meatballs were spot on and the Caesar salad was a solid 8 out of 10. The helping size was huge and I definitely had a go bag to take with me. Morgan was an awesome server. There was good working harmony with the family of staff. Be sure to ask about the daily specials. I'll be coming back, even though this was a $40 meal for one after tip.

Fantastic food and service!! Everyone is super nice, they make you feel right at home! The only downside about the place is the parking, the lot is on the smaller side and makes parking difficult especially when it’s busy.

I suggested this place to a friend as we were in the area .it had been good in the past. It took me 3 xs of asking for a bread basket as we were hungry and only one order of clams came out although we ordered two ( I admit my friend may have confused the waitress) the calamari was tuff and rubbery I took a pic even to compare to other places we've had and it tasted like old oil and over cooked obviously tuff to chew.. we sent back but later was told because there an hour from closing they won't refire but will take it off the bill.. so we agreed as we ordered 6 cut of pizza 8$ or so one glas of 9 oz wine and two orders of steamed clams 55$ did not add up but my friend didn't look at the bill breakdown.. something did not add up.. granted I didn't know this till after we left ..I left a 5$ tip witch when asked by my friend he was responded by an ungrateful response like it wasn't enough although the service wasn't great and food worse in my opinion. But yet we said nothing until asked by another waitress and as a Christian well I answered honestly her question as to " what didn't I like" and owner comes out offended apparently and defensive sarcastic like as we're walking out " thanks for your opinion as the other waitress stated " maybe my taste in pizza is just different.. well yes it is I like my any sauce as a real Italian to be neutralused not acidic and cheese should be real mozzarella not blended and crust didn't taste homemade . almost like a store bought bread crust but it only took 13 minutes to get so I wonder.... The arrogance and response I feel were like they were trying to get over on us and not happy when we stated the facts. And very unprofessional.what happened to the customer is always right? I'm a foody visiting every restaurant in this area and beyond.. I wasn't even going to say anything until asked but at the end of the day we paid 60$ for 1 glass of wine 2 orders of clams and 6 inedible to me( my friend was starving so he did eat as waiting for his clams came out late didn't care) they took the calamari back (rubbery as heck.. and I believewe were over charged and the attitude that came with service was unwarranted and the food all but clams was subpar compared to other visits to this very same place last year..never again will I recommend this place to my clients and long list of friends from every station in life local or not... Very disappointed and I'll pray for them .. I'm aware the locals are regulars but maybe theres another menu or good cook just for those who frequent this place and a garbage food leftovers for what they believed to be new comers or not from the area.. or maybe because it was an hour to closing they just didn't care.. idk and I never wish to find out as I'll never go there again and will stop my coworkers and friends and lawyers I work for and nurses and then some from going... My palet is above the arrogance as God is my...

Not the best first impression. I grew up with Colarusso’s in Avoca and Clark Summit. I know the family well and went to school with all the kids. This place is a very nice restaurant, very clean, aside from the flies in the dining room. Our service was very subpar and our server had only two tables. First, they refuse to split a check, for a small party. I’m a restaurant manager and I agree splitting for a large party is annoying, but really you can’t split a check two ways for a small party?? This was not advertised anywhere on the menu, thankfully we asked at the beginning. In today’s restaurant climate I don’t think anyone is in the position to say no to a guest, unless the request is unethical or not possible. My drink sat empty from the time we got our apps til after I got my dinner. The food was also subpar and definitely did not taste anything like the Colarusso brand. The cheese on the chicken parm was weird, tasted like American cheese. The sauce was bland and sweet. The tripe was well cooked and fresh but the sauce was extremely sweet and had no seasoning. I’m very shocked by this experience and really don’t think I’d be back. I hope they do better and learn the meaning of hospitality as I want to see all...

We will never go back!

As I was eating my entree' I noticed a long, black, curly hair in my entree'. We had a hard time trying to get our waitress to come over, she eventually did and took my food away.

I decided that I would just eat the pizza we ordered instead. I was using the grated cheese on my pizza when someone at our table noticed a large black fly in the grated cheese. Everyone at the table used the grated cheese. We tried getting the waitress over again, but she clearly was not attentive to us at all. When she came over she took the cheese away, and said they have a fly problem. We'll, that makes me want to rush there again to spend my money on a restaurant that has a fly problem!

The waitress took my entree off the bill, but since I had used the grated cheese with the fly, someone more should have been done. We had to ask for my drink to be taken off.

Right from the start the waitress seemed way too busy to take care of us. This coupled with the hair in my entree, and the fly in the cheese warrants us not to ever consider going back again.

There are a lot of restaurants to choose from...
