My friend and I was kicked out for being Democrats. Kind of odd how Elaine was talking to her friends and didn't mention anything political until my friend and I quietly talked about our own views. Seems like Elaine was eavesdropping on us first because after my friend and I had our small conversation, that's when Elaine and her friends started talking about political stuff , to my guessing to agitate us. Elaine handled the situation VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY, RUDE and CHILDISH. Lets not forget that Elaine is spilling lies, We were kicked out with no option to stay. Seems like someone can't take criticism, straight up facts or else you get called disgruntled for your opinion. Would give 0 stars if possible. We are from out of town and took a chance on this small diner off the beaten track. It was excellent. The place is cute and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is a breakfast and lunch spot. The food was very good. We had breakfast and our eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and breakfast potatoes were tasty. A nice little treat is when you first sit down they bring you a mini muffin for each person at the table. It was a very nice touch and makes you feel welcome. The service was great. They are very attentive and if you are a coffee drinker you are never wanting for more. They stop by regularly to top off your cup if you want. E-Lanes is a nice little gem...

Food was very good, our server was very good and funny but the owner Elaine forget it. I was joking around and said that she looked like Hillary Clinton and while everyone else laughed about it, she didn’t laugh at all and told me flat out to get out and never come back. So that will be the first time and the last time I will ever go into that woman’s business. If you can’t joke around with your customers then you shouldn’t be in business.
