Wanted to love the lobster sandwich, couldn't. Chewy, rubbery, not fresh tasting. Put in our order. "Come back in 26 (ish) mins. Ok. Returned after a drive through the historic "shipbuilders" nabe. What gorgeous homes! Well-tended landscaping, thoughtful architectural enhancements.

We returned after a little home ogling.

"Ooops! We forgot to put half your order in! Sorry, here is a stuffed quog (w what tastes like cumin and smoke flavoring)!"

Clam bellies. There were muy tasty, but guys? Donde es tartar sauce.nada.

Cole slaw: giant chunks of apples and large pieces of cabbage nestled in a flavorless dressing. Skip.

Fries. OK, but not a lover of cumin on fries.

This was our second stop on the K&J Retired Persons Lobster Roll Tour 2019. This quaint store makes a great lobster roll. There is no indoor seating so go on a nice day or plan to do takeout. The lobster was fresh and cold. The pieces were small so it was not chewy. However, the small bits allowed the scallions and celery to add a subtle taste. That, along with the lite mayo and hint of lemon made for a tasty meal. I highly recommend the coleslaw as it had small bits of apple and cranberry. The seating outside is small but pleasant.
