I wanted to give a shout to Christina Vlamakis-Hernandez and her team at Jimmy John’s in Dyer & Highland. I had the pleasure of going to the Dyer Night Out on August 6th with my wife and kids and appreciated the respect that she gives to her customers and the above and beyond energy she gives to Jimmy John’s when she is out doing events which other towns are hosting.
I had the pleasure of meeting her back in 2014 at Jimmy John’s when my wife was pregnant and she was pregnant with her twins as well. Christina always had a smile on her face, took the time to talk with all of her customers, and when me and my wife had a taste for Jimmy John’s she would even ask about her and how she was doing. Still to this day she asks about my wife and kids and provides them a great experience when we go there. My wife appreciated how she was hosting a back to school backpack event at the Highland location which I took my kids to and she made them feel so happy to receive one with the school supplies in them and the Little John sandwich coupon card they used to get their sandwich which they enjoyed a lot.

Read moreI went to the Jimmy John's in Dyer, Indiana last week. It was my first time there. And I will never be back. I spent 10 minutes in the parking lot signing up for the rewards program. I went inside for a to go order. I got a BLT sandwich and a pop. When I went to pay the card reader said I didn't have a rewards set up. I was handed my sandwich with no bag and no napkins. I got out to my car and proceeded to open my sandwich which had 3 slices of undercooked bacon stacked on top of each other and only on half the sandwich. And there was so much mayonnaise that it squirted out of my sandwich all over. I ordered cheese on it and got one slice of cheese which was only on the half with the bacon. The other half sandwich was lettuce and mayonnaise. Which I paid just under 10.00 for. Then I emailed Jimmy Johns to state that I didn't get my rewards and in fact didn't even show up in the system. That was 8 days ago. Still no response. So I'll be going elsewhere for lunch from now on . And considering I work for a company that orders lunch everyday for 15 people they'll be missing out on...
Read moreI’ve NEVER left a review for any restaurant, BUT this evening was TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: Walked in tonight , spoke to the cashier TWICE , she NEVER spoke back, I asked if everything was ok, she got smart and asked WHY? I said because I said hello twice and you never responded, Her response then, why are you asking if I’m ok,are you gonna call the ambulance? Just EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I gave you 5 stars on the food because the young man who fixed the sandwich was very professional and polite. AS HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN. The cashier on your register tonight will definitely run your customers away. I visit this store quite often , but after tonight, I’ve considered taking my business elsewhere.
