When we were sat, the first thing the waitress did was rattle off a list of things they don’t have (brisket, veg medley, milk shakes, and onion rings) okay, things run out, I get that. Still disappointing. She took our drink order, all fountain pops. That took 10 minutes to get. There were at least 3 servers working and less than 10 tables sat. So that wait time was excessive. We ordered 2 orders of 10 pancake puppies. They came out way over cooked. Then the actual dinners arrived. The bourbon chicken skillet had about 1/2 the chicken it should’ve on it. The mile high Denver omelette was slopped together with half a slice of cheese hanging o out on the plate with burnt toast. The country fried steak dinner tasted like old grease and tons of salt as did the chicken fried chicken. We were all hungry so we tried to eat it, but we left half or more of our food. We told the server about the greasy salty plates since those 2 couldn’t eat more than a few bites. She took those 2 plates off our table. It took the server 15-20 minutes to find the manager. The managers name was Amanda. We know that because we could hear our server asking every other employee if they knew where she was. We got tired of waiting and just went to the register so we could leave. We heard our server loudly say to someone “don’t worry about it I’ll take care of it”. She came to cash us out. She said her manager said she could remove one of those meals. I feel both should’ve been removed considering they were removed from our table with only a few bites out of them. We didn’t even Speak to a manager. As a manager myself, I feel this was extremely unprofessional and she needs to be reprimanded. Missing from the store for 20 minutes is wild, but to not even address the issue to the customer is ridiculous. I couldn’t tell you what she even looks like, that’s how much presence she had on the floor. I went to the website to contact privately first, but the form says I must put the store number, but there’s no box to put that in. So here we are. Attached are a few photos of how the food looked that was brought to us that you could visually...
Read moreFood is ok at best. Not something worth boasting about. The wait staff is fair, I understand that its not the wait staffs fault for what the absolutely atrocious management is doing. I had ordered 6 eggs and a country fried steak, the steak was overly priced, but not as much as the eggs, the management charging ($3.99) per egg is absolute robbery, considering the fact that their main customers are the very people delivering their goods, I find it absolutely appalling that they have the audacity to charge truckers $3.99 an egg when you can buy a dozen eggs for the same price at the store, but capitalizing on the fact we can't always get to a store nor make our own food speaking for the majority of us, the fact of the management charging for 1 egg what it would normally be for 12 should be absolutely criminal and should have a stop to it immediately. I do not recommend this establishment for food whatsoever. As a trucker, ill not be stopping to eat here ever again and would advice the rest of you to save your money and plan ahead to find a more suitable and reasonable establishment to give your patronage to. Unless I get a heart-felt apology and they resolve to lower their prices for their eggs, ill not be giving my money to this...
Read moreIt was a terrible experience. I specifically ordered my burger with no veggies, just meat cheese bacon and mayo. The 1st time it was brought out it had veggies on it... I saw the tomato and since I am allergic I asked for it to be remade. It was remade and when it came out the 2nd time, I saw pickles on it. At that point I asked for a refund and to speak with the manager, I was told waitress couldn't do the refund and the manager wasn't around. The burger and fries went back to the kitchen again and came back out in less than 5 minutes, so I asked if a new burger had been made or if they just removed the pickles and I was told the kitchen staff looked at it and it didn't have pickles on it... the burger definitely had pickles on it. At that point I just asked for the manager to do the refund, I was told she was too busy to do it, no one from management apologized to me ever. I travel all across the country as a truck driver and never have I had such bad service from a Denny's. The manager should have handled the problem from the beginning and apologized. 3 times the meal went to the kitchen and not once did the manager show her face. Very very...
