My husband and I went to this establishment this morning for breakfast. Alexis was our waitress. We were quickly seated and it was nice to have flavored creamer for my coffee. Alexis was such a sweetheart. A great smile on her face ready to interject customers with her infectious zest for life. I ordered one banana pancake (the one pancake is the size of a 9 inch plate... one pancake is plenty.) Eggs were great. The sausage is what I grew up calling "bangers" which is fat sausages. My husband opted for the blueberry pancakes eggs and sausage patty. His blueberry pancakes were great. I hadn't had a banana pancake for over 40 years. The banana pancake did not disappoint. The entire breakfast was great. Alexis checked on us several times and it was nice not having to ask for my coffee to be refilled. She was constantly refilling our coffee which we appreciated. What astounded us was that the kitchen staff wished us a good day and thanked us for coming in! Certainly a nice touch. We will definitely be back! Thanks Alexis and the kitchen staff for a...
Read moreGoing through Eagle Point, famished, we stopped for breakfast. The dining area is packed with oversized photos of pancakes and other super sweet foods with tons of whipped cream and sprinkles and the like that made my teeth hurt by just looking at them. "Diabetes for the Holidays". Is that a song?
I ordered Corned Beef Hash which was a thinly pressed pattie of shredded corned beef and hash browns that was so salty that I'm still craving water. The flavor was actually good, but a little tough to chew. My wife had the Eggs Benny that came out with a weird lemon like cream sauce that was their version of hollandaise. Funkiness all around with this one. Again, the sodium level seemed through the food, at least for the both of us.
The service was the shining star of the experience with all whom we talked to being pleasant and friendly.
Overall, I can't say anything was BAD, just a bit different than what I am used to experiencing. Judging from the room full of good folks having breakfast, I may be the outlier...

Pros - The menu was cool! You could customize your pancakes with various dough and toppings. The peanut butter pancake with Nutella and the bacon I had was awesome! A young waiter there named Caden (if I remember right that is his name) was a cool guy. I think he has a good heart.
Cons - The milk and eggs I had tasted weird. The fact that the Medford LDS Temple is near by and the fact I came into the restaurant dressed in a dress shirt, shoes, slacks, tie, etc. likely gave away the fact that I’m LDS. Not only that, but it’s rare that I go to Medford. I could feel and see the eyes on me even before I sat down. Not only that but I didn’t feel and think that the workers were treating me genuinely with respect and courtesy. I was tempted at one point to leave, but I didn’t want to add fuel to the fire. I don’t plan on going there...
