Horrible owner. This food truck will be out of business within 1 year. Pre ordered tamales for a party. The city of Maryville shut them down for no permit. Literally, it’s a $75 once a year permit. Drove an hour and a half to get my catering order and they weren’t there. Then gave me a snarky message after I private messaged him. Stop trying to cut corners and setting up illegally. Just pay for the permits and do like everyone else. Your tamales are very good. But your attitude and lack of professionalism and taking ownership of your mistake will put you out of business. Stopped by for dinner last night. Had my eye on this place for a while now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a two taco with beans & rice combo. The chicken tacos were tender and flavorful on phenomenal corn tortillas with onions and salsa. The beans and rice were also very good. I also seriously enjoyed the roasted pepper and green onion. My wife got a chicken burrito that was very good. She got cheese sauce, sour cream, beans, rice, lettuce and tomato. It was big and had a phenomenal tortilla. The corn and flour tortillas here definitely stand out. Everything was really good and made quickly. Coming from Chicago I know really good food can come from unconventional places. If you step outside the box and be open to experience diffrent culinary methods you can find these places. This is one of those places. It'll be my go to neighborhood street taco spot. I don't normally go to food trucks, but when I looked them up, they had five star reviews, so I thought I'd try them out. I wasn't impressed. I got #7, Arroz con pollo.
