I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite some time. After a nice drive on my day off, I decided it was time to finally check them out. Mexican food in Tennessee is hit or miss, with most being the latter. I visited on a weekend for a late lunch/early dinner and the timing was perfect because there wasn’t a wait and the crowds began arriving as I was leaving. There was ample parking right up front and the ambiance inside was pleasant. I always like seeing Mexicans working at Mexican food restaurants because to me, that means the food is most likely going to be authentic and it was! I ordered a 3-item combo meal. At a lot of restaurants, I opt for shredded beef instead of ground beef because I don’t like the taste of many restaurants’ ground beef. I decided to order just as it was described on the menu and boy, was it delicious! The cooks at Las Fiestas know what they’re doing! I ordered 2 Enchiladas and a Tamale. Everything tasted amazing! Their beef is seasoned perfectly, the margarita was tasty, with just the right amount of alcohol, and I really liked their salsa. This restaurant rivals my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbia, which shall remain nameless, and it’s actually even a little better, which is saying a lot! I would come here more often if it was closer. The pricing is inexpensive and the service is great! I highly recommend and will...
Read moreThe two stars is only because the food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. When you order food to go from this place you almost literally have to drive there first and ask to speak with the owner/manager in order for it to be right. Today I ordered beef chimichanga with my cheese sauce on the side and 1 Pablo Rellena. What I got was a steak chimichanga with the cheese sauce on the chimichanga and my Chile Rellena had no cheese on it. They Said they read it back to me which they did and what they said was correct but if your not going to check what your kitchen is making before releasing it to me don’t tell me what your repeating back is correct or incorrect because your kitchen does what ever the hell it wants to do, clearly not what the customer is paying them to do! I was asked what can they do to make it right... Considering it seems like everytime I order to go something is not right we can start by getting it right the first time, it obviously seems like a lot to ask this group! Another concern was from 11/2020 where you call 30 minutes before they close and they just pick up the phone and set it down so they don’t have to take your Togo order! This group only has a 3 because I do think they have very good food, which is the only reason why I go back at least until more businesses open in the area!...
Read moreWife and I dined in the outside seating area with a group of 7 other friends. The server was friendly however obviously stretched thin as it appeared as though he was working the entire outside seating area by himself. Consequently, the service was on the slower side (i.e. the only refills our table received was when someone from our group caught his attention and requested it). The food was hands down great! The portion sizes were plentiful. The presentation of meals were picturesque. As far as the temperature, no doubt our orders arrived at our table as immediately as they were prepared; because they were piping hot. For the better than fair pricing, the amount of food provided per meal, and the friendliness of the service, we will absolutely visit again when we are in the area. Hopefully the staffing shortages are resolved...
