Sprinkles Ice Cream Shop and Trucks — Restaurant in East Allen Township

Needed a last-minute fill-in for my daughter's birthday party. I had my mind set on having food catered. After this experience, renting an ice cream truck will forever be my goto. In the Stroudsburg area, Sprinkles Ice Cream met all my expectations. This was the first time I saw a 'text the company' option, and their team was so attentive. Communication was on point. The prices were known ahead of time, and they speak American. I didn't get the impression that they're lacking business and just waiting for me to call to make a sale. Actually, it seemed like they were already booked up, yet to save the day, willingly accommodated my daughter's special day. I wasn't given too much flexibility in the time, but I believe with less than 30 hours' notice that it's understandable that I wouldn't have too many options. I paid using CC, even though they would have accepted cash. I really wish I'd gotten some pictures of the clean truck and the smiles it brought, but everyone had gotten their hands full with several selections from the Sprinkles Ice Cream Truck and then the race to eat everything...

Google Maps states that the opening times were updated by the owner the same day we attempted to go here. We milled around outside as we were there abt 5 min before the opening time listed on Google Maps. We waited until 10 minutes after they were supposed to be opened, but the light-up open sign didn't come on and it remained dark inside. There was a sandwich board with balloons out by the road indicating they were open; however, they weren't open when we were there. The girl was nice enough but didn’t give me correct change. My fiancé ordered strawberry hard ice cream and I got hazelnut soft serve. His ice cream was really good. I was looking forward to mine as I love hazelnut and I don’t think I’ve ever seen hazelnut soft serve. I was kinda mad to find out half my cup was vanilla soft serve topped with hazelnut soft serve! Free sprinkles DO NOT make up for giving me half a cup of a cheap flavor topped with the flavor I asked for.
