They're kind of new to town not everybody knows this but we still have a hung One restaurant back in the old plaza where Stop & Shop stands now what used to be as you at one point. And from what I've been told the sister that owned Hong Kong in town now on this place so in other words what I'm getting at is if you remember that food that's about the same quality you should expect here. Now with that being said for those of you that are not familiar with what I was just talking about let me say it is good food it's conveniently located in the center of town it has a nice little spot that it sits where you can eat inside if you choose there's a couple outside options but limited. Everything I've eaten so far of like tell me issue I have with the place if I had to say one is for Chinese restaurant there is kind of small portions and obviously this because I guess you can say other restaurants are spoiled me and by giving me enough food for like two or three meals. But what would you do get is...
Read moreI really hate to leave a bad review but we will no longer be ordering food from here.
The first incident was when I ordered “two orders of Pad Thai - one with shrimp and one without”. When I showed up to pick up my food the staff was too busy gossiping at the front counter with each other to acknowledge us. Then they had made and wanted to charge me for FOUR ORDERS of Pad Thai and told me it was my fault. They argued it was how I phrased it. I wasn’t arguing with them and paid the extremely expensive bill.
Yesterday we tried Po’s one more time. I ordered over the phone and asked if the Pad Thai came with anything. The employee said “yes it comes with white rice”. When I showed up to pick up the food I paid and left. When I got home there were two things of Pad Thai and no sides of rice. So I paid $55 for two orders of Pad Thai - with nothing on the side - and four egg rolls. Ridiculous.
I prefer to shop and eat locally but this is not worth the time, money...
Read moreThis is one of the nicest Thai restaurants I have ever been to in terms of decor, friendly and accommodating staff, prices, and amenities. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, however, it is a disappointment. Yes, they use fresh ingredients in terms of the vegetables, but the sauces were bland and like no other Thai restaurant I have ever been in (and I have been in MANY). I ordered cashew nut chicken and it came WITHOUT scallions or red chili peppers. Instead it had a plethora of chopped carrots and celery. The sauce, rather than being a rich brown, slightly spicy tasting sauce, was yellow and bland. The chicken was weird in both my meal and my sister's, as if it was processed deli chicken instead of a real chicken breast. The texture was so abnormal that we ended up taking it home to feed to our dog. Maybe the food appeals to some kind of Americanized palate, but if you are looking for anything authentic, don't go there. You'll be disappointed,...
