My only issue, was that the people at the next table over moved their table and seats so far over that my husband and I had to both sit on one side of the table. It was our anniversary dinner so it meant something. We did call a few weeks ahead, and then the day before to ensure we got a table and was told just show up, the time we would be going wouldnt be slammed busy. When we got there there was a 45 min to an hour wait , we couldn't wait because we were scheduled to attend a show. So we chose to sit outside. Which honestly wasnt bad. That was the only one issue. The service was amazing, we had the owners son and he was very good at his job. He didnt continuously like check on us, his timing was perfect. I strongly dislike when your in the middle of your meal and the waiter rushes you, so he was perfect. We felt like we could take our time and just enjoy the place. It reminded me of a back home , relaxed, family oriented but pretty busy environment. Every one, and i do mean every person we came into contact with was friendly, all smiles, willing to help with anything we asked. The owner was making her rounds, asking every table periodically how are they doing, do they need anything, she actually refilled my husbands soda. It was nice to see an owner that cared. Now about the food.......... The food was the best food I've ever had, hands down. The shrimp was so juicy, mouth watering. They give great portions, a little pricey but if you had what we had, you'd understand. If I lived closer we'd be there for an every Friday family dinner type of thing. I never take leftovers, I dont normally eat leftovers- but we just had to take the leftovers home. I finished it that night it was so good..... even cold. I didn't care, it was that good! It was an amazing experience, and I will definitely, for sure...
Read moreI was really impressed with the presentation of the building as well as the atmosphere on the inside. I was welcomed and treated with kindness as soon as I walked in the door. The building was an old centennial barn refurbished into a elegant yet rustic restaurant in a very beautiful country scene in rural PA. I was seated and was handed a nice portfolio with the menu. I viewed the menu and saw one of my favorite dishes: Chicken Marsala. I was in for a treat.
I was feeling good until my selected dish was presented before me … I saw breaded chicken and fettuccini noodles with mushrooms topping the entree. Under the entree was from my viewpoint, discolored water. The breaded part of the chicken was soggy and sliding off of the chicken. Well, before I started to judge it, I wanted to be fair … I took my first bite. First off, I prefer a thick marsala sauce like a gravy with a hint of basil and garlic … not a watered down tasteless soup. There was no distinctive Marsala taste in the sauce (water) let alone no Italian seasoning of any type in any part of the dish. This dish was bland.
I was hoping to get a memorable experience in the favorable department, but my taste buds were screamed for justice for a dish that was not properly presented as a Marsala dish.
I do hope I get a chance to revisit to try their pasta meat sauce in a lasagna or parmigiana dish. I do have to say the portions of their dishes are very large!
I do not recommend choosing anything with “Marsala” in...

If you are traveling to Hershey Park and you are including an overnight stay, the Hershey/Grantville exit of I-81 has plenty of hotels to choose from and many of them from the well-known national chains.
That said, if you want to have a great dinner experience and love Italian food, this is the place to go.
We opted for the 14" Special pizza. That's pepperoni green peppers, onions, mushrooms, black onions, ham, sausage and bacon. We both pre-app'd with salads. Sandy had the house salad with ranch dressing and I had a seizure. Thumbs up for both of them on crispness and flavor.
Let me first start by introducing you to our server, Janeth. She was professional, attentive and timely. She obliged with special requests (Sandy wanted some Ranch Dressing) and kept our beverages filled.
Our pizza had plenty of mozzarella and the crust was delicious. The toppings were as expected, and the sausage was shaved. This 14-in pizza was divided into six slices. Served hot and presented with many intrinsic spices, we recommend this place highly. Even the decor was appealing.
We also sampled a nice slice of Lemon Blueberry Mascarpone cake. Sandy, absolutely loved it. I liked it too, but as I was eating it, I just kept thinking of flowers. I don't know what that means. Maybe it means something to you. At any event it was all good. We had a wonderful experience and a wonderful time. We highly recommend this if you're...
