Great American Grille — Restaurant in East Hanover Township

We have gone here about 5 times in the last year. Each time it has gotten worse! Very little to choose from and what is there really isn't worth eating. Definitely not worth what you pay for the buffet on Friday night! The food is cold, and you may get decent crab legs if you catch them on a good Friday. The desserts amount to 2 or 3 things, usually 2 different types of cakes and pie or cheesecake. All of which are bought already prepared and frozen. Tonight I got a piece of chocolate cake that was still frozen in the middle. The service is slow at best. If you wonder why there are not many people there and certainly no line waiting to get in then now you know why. $27.99 per person, plus the cost of drink and then extra if you want coffee with your dessert. Dan O’Donnell is the worst manager I have ever delt with. We had sent a hamburger back to the kitchen after being uncooked. The server had comped our drinks, she was great about everything. When the manager Dan came over he was so unpleasant calling my mother a liar about an uncooked burger and walked away in the middle of me asking a question. He was so rude, unprofessional. And definitely never had a food safety class in his life. As long as he is working in this establishment I will never be back. Cute little restaurant inside the holiday Inn. The restaurant food is okay. The prices are good but don't expect a ton in the food. The quesadilla and the chili were great. The nachos could have been made in a few minutes at home and looked the same. The line dancing and events that go on here seem to attract a big crowd which was cool. I ate here many times cause I was staying here, but if it wasn't in the hotel I wouldn't have gone out of my way after...
