Italian Delight — Restaurant in East Hanover Township

Recently stayed at the Holiday Inn for a weekend conference and decided to grab a bite from Italian Delight—and I’m delighted I did!

Ordering was incredibly smooth and convenient through both Grubhub and DoorDash. The interface was intuitive, delivery time was accurate, and the food arrived hot and fresh, which is always a concern with hotel deliveries. Huge win right off the bat.

Now, the food: I ordered a classic Italian sub and a large mushroom pizza. The sub was stacked with fresh meats, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and the perfect amount of oil and vinegar. The bread was warm, lightly toasted, and held up without getting soggy—exactly what you want in a solid veal parm sub.

The pizza? Spot on. The crust had that perfect New York-style chew, with a slight crisp on the bottom. Sauce was flavorful but not overpowering, and the cheese was generous and gooey with a good stretch. The pepperoni had just the right amount of char on the edges—real pizzeria quality.

Portions were generous, prices were fair, and it totally hit the spot after a long day of seminars and networking.

This place is off the beaten path. We had just left Hershey Park and Google Maps took us to our hotel literally through what anyone would have thought was a scene out of a horror movie.

It was getting late and we found this place. We walked in and the waitress told us we could sit anywhere. She was amazing. She was alone serving tables and did a great job.

The food was great. It reminded me of the mom and pop places that use to be more frequent years ago. I got the veal Parmesan sub. It was exactly like it was when I was a kid.

I know most people won't understand this but I lived overseas for 30 years. When I find a place that reminds me of my childhood - that's saying something.

The portions were large. My family was shocked as most places are shrinking portions. Not here. The prices were very fair for the portion sizes.

I wish more places were like this. I have a place like that where I live now but they aren't what...

I took my family here twice,back to back days, for lunch(which wasn't the plan while visiting Hershey Park and surrounding area)as the first visit was so impresionable my kids didn't want to try any other restaurants in the area!! Their specialty pizza we had were phenomenal( Chicken Ceasar,BBQ chicken,Ham and Pineapple and Pepperoni)! My wife and I really enjoyed the ham and pineapple and BBQ chicken slices.My kids think they are experts on pizza and they couldn't stop stating this was the best pizza they ever had! The second visit I wanted to try something different so I had their cheesesteak sandwich and we also wanted to try their wings...both delicious choices!! Also when you walk into this establishment EVERY ONE BEHIND THE COUNTER GREETS YOU including the manager or possibly the owner(can't recall his name as the moment).
