Read moreI’ve lived in East Hartford since 1998 & I went to Augie & Rays for the 1st time this month (Aug 2025) Now..my husband & I are foodies so don’t get upset with this review. The first thing we ordered was the Turkey Grinder & all the fixings..delicious..so delicious that I’ll never go to Subway again..but here’s the 2nd half of my review: Today (8/27/25) I wanted to try out their breakfast..it was a complete fail. The chili dog, they geniusly put the cheese in the bun BEFORE putting the fresh hot dog on. Resulting in a layer of melted cheese in every bite.
The cheeseburger was a classic style patty with a slice of american cheese on top. Tastes right off the grill.
I plan on returning to try more items on the menu at some point but based off the ones I tried today, this place is certainly deserving...
