First, the Anginette cookies were TERRIBLE !!!!! The cookies had NO FLAVOR , NO FLAVOR at all !!! The only thing you could taste was sweet frosting ? They didn’t taste like an Anginette cookie AT ALL!!!!! AT ALL!!!!!! TASTELESS!! THE TEXTURE WAS AWFUL, JUST A FLAT BLOB!!!! AWFUL! !!!They were a birthday present for a co-worker, SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I also purchased a Chocolate Lemon Pie for an anniversary and it was basically RAW and HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I also purchased some chocolate eclairs for myself, soooo DISGUSTING…The filling was HARD and DRY???????. What are you doing at this bakery???? Who is doing the baking here???? The Petonitos family should be mortified with their name associated with this place!!!!!!!!! The Petonitos bakery was absolutely amazing! WAS!!!!!! The new owners , I’m sorry,, need some lessons in baking! I spent over $50 and EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE! I don’t recommend this bakery at all!!!!!!!!! One item off, ok , but ALL 3 items, all 3 items were horrible , I mean HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! All went in the trash!!!!!! I drove 1hr 20mins to get insulted by the owner because he wanted us to pick a simple cake. He apparently does not know how to be creative and does not like a little challenge. First we get there and he mentions that our wedding is still a year away and it's too early to be picking out cakes. He said it with such an attitude! We had envisioned a themed cake with absolutely no fondant and once he heard no fondant he kept complaining about how it would be very expensive like a thousand for the cake we wanted. Mind you this is a cake for 140 people and I didnt care how much it cost. He kept complaining about the cost and time he would have to put into it and effort....Um yeah that's why you make cakes! I ended up biting into one of the samples and decided the tasting was over the samples were stale!! And he again seemed frustrated that we were not going with fondant so he mentioned what it would cost...again! This bakery is never displayed as their social media platforms advertise. I'm not quite sure why I keep trying them over and over. I decided to try them out again today but yet another let down. The bakery was completely empty, the only thing in their storefront were Italian cookies. No fruit Danish, no poppy horns, no donuts, no stuffed breads and their pastry case was broken with just a list of pastries you could order and they would get them out of the back. More than half of the items I asked for they were out of and also being a visual person (as I'm sure most people are) this wasn't a pleasant experience. I asked if they were all freshly made today and was told yes so decided to get a few. When I got home and shared these with my guest it was clear they were not fresh! The cannoli was falling apart and had a soggy texture. Not like a crisp fresh cannoli shell, the pasticciotti was stale and the lemon tart was very very dense with crusted chocolate icing on top.
